| Welcome class! Well, last lesson�s worm-thing probably wasn�t the idea of my life. Most of you were appereantly to enrossed by the idea to create worms to do their homework. By the way, Madame Pomfrey asked me to have a serious word with you.I�ve never seen so many students puke worms in all my life and I trust that Transfiguration spells ment for objects are never being tested on humans or creatures again. Mrs Norris has turned into a nasty shade of green and only resently recovered from this violent sickness. Now that is settled, let�s start with todays lesson. Yet again I� advise you to take notes, as there exists no text book for Transfiguration. I know all of you would love to become animagi and would prefer starting right away, but to transform yourself into an animal is one of the hardest bits of magic that can be achieved and you, as first years, need to start with the small things. Nevertheless, I have prepared for todays lesson something a trifle more interesting. I have already placed a fistfull of pebbles on each desk. Now students...we are making candy rocks. They are a quite popular treat in the British Muggle World and taste delicious. Get your wands out everybody! Please do now pronounce the spell: Farfallarium apparante! Stressing is - as usual - of the utmost importance. Looks like those pebbles turned into a shade of pink...Great!Yours are already sticky...Right, they�re not supposed to do that dear, but we�ll sort it out in no time... Now that already looks nice class! Your homework will be to get yourself some pebbles out at the lake - remember to clean them - and turn them into edible candy rocks. Describe your experience and hand in a sampler of your work ;-) As long and detailed as possible - business as usual. Oh and - this spell woun�t work on anything but pebbles...we�re not advanced enough for beetles yet - just joking. Off you go! I hope you had as much fun as I did, see you next lesson! |

| Notes, lads, Notes that is the magical spell to achieve a straight As in all of my exams..well that and studying of course, but you get what I mean. Grading is much about the same as COMC. I am starting to work with % in both of them now, but don�t worry, brilliant as you all are nothing will change in the actual grades. |
