| A tinkly bell rings somewhere in the shop as you step inside. It is a tiny place, no furniture exept for a single spindly chair. The walls however are lined with selves upon which thousands of narrow boxes are piled neatly up to the ceiling. The very dust and silence seem to tingle with some secret magic. "Good afternoon" suddenly sais a soft voice that makes you jump. " Err..Hello" you answer awkwardly. "Ah yes," sais the man that so suddenly appeared from behind the shop. "Yes,yes. I tought I�d be seeing you soon. He very casually mentiones your name as tough he always new you. "Well, now. Let me see." He pulles out a long tape measure with silver markings from his pocket. "Which is your wand arm? Ah, yes, I tought it would be. Hold out your arm. That�s it" He measures you from shoulder to finger. then wrist to elbow, shoulder to floor, knee to armpit and round your head. As he measures he sais, "Every Ollivander wand has a core of a powerful magical substance. We use unicorn hairs, phoenix tail feathers, the heartstrings of dragons and Veela hair. No two Ollivander wands are the same, just as no two unicorns, dragons, phoenixes or Vellas are the same. And of course, you will never get such good results with another wizard�s wand" You suddenly realize that the tape measure, which is at this moment measuring between your nostrils, is doing his own work. Mr. Ollivander is flitting around shelves, taking down boxes. "That will do", he said, and the tape measure crumpled into a heap on the floor. "Right then." He places a pile of boxes in front of you. "Try these and fill in the order form below as soon as your wand has found you." |
