"MISSIE'S" EMMANUEL THE MAGNETIC FROG HOLDER

My daughter is always collecting magnet frogs, so to keep them tidy I made this magnetic frog holder.

It is just a fun project and does not involve a lot of complicated work.

The frog was sketched onto a piece of galvanized sheet metal and then painted after treating the metal to age it so the paint would take.

The frame is just some moulding I had on hand.

when that part was completed I cut some plywood to make a backing and stiffener for the sheet metal and then added eye screws to fit the wire to hang it up.

Sample magnetic frogs are attached.

Bold colours to make it fun and to stand out is the choice but you may colour it as you wish:)

Have fun. :)

EMMANUEL

I asked my daughter what she had called the frog. She said she had decided to call him Emmanuel. She thought he looked liked an Emmanuel.

Hmmm! He does look like some brigand from one of the tropical jungles. :) Not that I mean all Emmanuels are brigands. :)

Enjoy! :)
