OPA’S
CHRISTMAS TALE.
SANTA VISITS OPA TO ASK FOR
HIS HELP TO MAKE SOME GARDENING TOOLS SPECIAL TOOLS. Opa and Oma’s
eldest son, who was a mechanic, would also like a set of transmission
tools for Christmas. Santa asked Opa if he could make them in time? Opa said he would
be very honoured to make the tools for Santa, however there was a
problem. Opa’s forge was not working. If Santa could see his way clear
to put some of his Christmas Magic into Opa’s tools, he thought he
would be able to get the job done for Santa. OMA'S SHOVEL In addition, Santa
whispered, Oma needed a small shovel and hoe because she was unable to
use the big ones any more; they were getting too heavy for her. He asked
that Oma’s present be kept a secret, Shhhh, shhhh, shhhh, shhhh, he
said; let's keep it a secret and don't tell Oma.
OPA’S TOOLS
ARE MADE MAGIC Santa waved his
hands and showered Opa’s tools with pixie dust and they became magic.
TOOLS COMPLETED
IN TIME. With the aid of
the tools, Opa was able to hammer and beat the gardening tools into
shape. When they were completed, Opa painted them with lots of love and
care. The tools, including son’s transmission tools, were finished in
time for presentation at the family Christmas barbecue.
Santa even visited the family’s BBQ to give out the tools and
stayed for a little while. Merry
Christmas to all. Love Oma and Opa One night earlier
this year, Santa visited Opa. He shook Opa's shoulder to wake him. Opa
snorted, coughed and grumbled, but did not wake up. Opa does not like to
be woken from his sleep during the night. Santa shook him
again and at last Opa woke up. He was soooo surprised to see Santa
standing there. What are you doing
here Santa, I thought you only came here on Christmas night. Santa said he had
come to ask for his help. He was very worried because he wanted four
families to have each a set of gardening tools. He was worried
because he thought the elves were so busy this year that they might not
have time to make the tools and this would disappoint everyone. Worldwide Copyright John W. 1998,2001 Click on the graphic to vote
