Lecture 3: How Can Arithmancy Do For Me (You)?
[ Assignment 3 ]
Many people ask, when having a numerology reading, always ask what it can do for them. Well, it helps you learn to know and understand yourself and gaining confidence in your right to be the best you can be. Your strengths and weaknesses, what you need to work on and what you have to work with, where you are coming from and the heights you can yet reach. It's all there in your birthname and in your birthdate. The name initially given at birth is called the cosmic name and it reflects your goals, talents, lessons and debts, in essence, your reason for being here. We each have come with a purpose and destiny as we journey through life. Numerology gives us a blueprint; a roadmap to follow. Changing your name can enhance or detract from your ability to fulfill your mission in life, but it does not change the factors. Your numbers are not isolated clues, but interlocking pieces of a vast puzzle. You are one within the One.
The day of the month on which you were born, regardless of which month or year it is, is an important numerological indicator, providing an excellent "sketch" of standout traits. It strongly influences the most productive period of your life, and it one of the four key numbers in a chart. The other three are the Soul Urge, Expression, and the Life Path. The Soul Urge is found by adding together all the vibrations of the vowels and reveals the longings of the soul, the goals and motivations in life. The sum of the vibrations of the consonants is the Quiet Self and indicates the unique talents that help you reach your goals and, because it operates on a more subconscious level, is expressed as if describing a dream. The total of all of the vibrations in the name is the Expression and this is the face you show the world, the traits that others see most readily. You may find that you vibrate to one or more of these numbers, in other words, feel a particular draw to them without consciously knowing why.
Your name is only half of your story. Your date of birth, regardless of what time or where you were born, fleshes out the whole person. The digits of the date of birth reveal additional character traits, but are primarily reflective of the types of events that can be expected during specific periods of your life. The special challenges you face are derived from your date of birth, which is also the source of personal year, month and day information. Taken together, these serve as "life almanacs" to help you prepare, plan and make the most of your time in this plane of experience.
We live in a world of numbers. A scientise could write H2O and the symbol is understood. A numerologist could write the name Marie 4, 1, 9, 9, 5 and understand the nature of Marie. Everything is labeled, named and, thus, numbered. This includes our houses, streets, telephones, calenders, clocks, birthdays, social security cards; it is endless.
Numbers represent qualities, while figures represent quantities. Numerology recognizes the potential and spiritual command found in our birthdate and birthname, and reading the numbers reveals the life experiences and what our soul longs for. However, one of the greatest challenges is to know your self. What are the habits/patterns that hold in fear of change? Is it ones potential? As you read the following attributes, think carefully how they manifest in your daily life: perfectionism, self- righteousness, piety, food, sex, youth, power, security, failed relationships, scattered energies, money matters, over-corporation, fear of expressing your true feelings, living in the world of shoulds, trust, rigidity, and fear of success. In other words, what we are unaware in ourselves, we will invariably attract to us through others.
Utilizing the study of numerology provides tools to face a wide range of challenges. There are serious problems that require therapy or more, and such problems go beyond what will be covered in the study are numerology. Professional help can be one more tool of regaining self.
Learning to be awake is for those who are seekers of understanding. Numbers are principles/laws; not the rules, suggestions, codes of ethical behavior created by human society, for they transcend to a higher order. Example: We could declare gravity illegal or even immoral, but the law of gravity is still going to apply. These laws have been consistent throughout history with far-reaching application and are referred to as the spiritual laws or universal principles.
Numerology provide tools/avenues for the expansion of our selves and others. There are habits/patterns that serve as well as those that dwell in the shadows. If you can name it, then you can make amends with pieces that rob your potential. Any belief or practice that cannot be questioned has the makings of a shadow/attachment. In numerology the more you question, the more that is revealed.
