DESCRIPTION:
Yahoo (http://www.yahoo.com) was launched in early 1995 and is a human-compiled subject directory and commercial portal. It is the oldest major directory on the web, launched in late 1994, and is a good starting point for information of general appeal. Yahoo is a major international search engine with several sites specializing in different countries. In the hispanic world there are direct sites for Spain, Argentina and Mexico.
