From the west of Slidell, via I-12:
Take the Airport Road exit, turn right, go to end where it joins 190W. Turn LEFT
Continue toward Slidell until the FIRST traffic light. This is Huntwyck Village. Turn right and drive all the way through the subdivision (on Westminster) to where the road leaves the subdivision and become Azalea.
Go the three short blocks until Azalea ends at Garden Drive. (Your choices there are right, left, and in the ditch.)
*Turn RIGHT on Garden Drive. It's a bit more than half a block till you see a yellow mailbox on the RIGHT with my name on it. The house is on the left.
Continue to stop sign, make a "regular" right turn onto MYRTLE and park there. (Garden is narrow and there are a lot of construction vehicles. Be careful crossing Garden because a lot of people ignore the stop signs.)
Go into my yard through the driveway gate. The left side of it opens very easily. Close gate behind you.
The pool is about about 300 back.
Coming from New Orleans via I-10:
Your best bet is to get off at the second exit HWY 433, aka Old Spanish Trail. Head towards town (left.)
You will end up merging into HWY 11 as you veer right. When Hwy 11 becomes four lane, get into the the left lane.
When you get to the railroad tracks there's a traffic light. CROSS THE RAILROAD TRACKS and continue on 433 a bit under a mile until the traffic light at CARROLL Road. Turn RIGHT.
A bit under a mile and you will see an abandoned mini-mart/launderette store on the left. ONE BLOCK AFTER THAT IS GARDEN DRIVE.
Turn LEFT on Garden Drive, go to almost the third stop sign. (Well, if the kids keep on stealing the stop signs it will be the second stop sign.) At any rate, I am at the intersection of three roads. See above * for final directions.
