Jutting out into Lake Superior in northern Wisconsin, is a scenic archipelago known as the Apostle Islands. It consists of 21 islands and 12 miles of mainland Lake Superior shoreline and has the largest collection of lighthouses anywhere in the National Park System, in addition to its many other scenic wonders shown herein.
