Puppy Owner's Comments
Just a note to let you know I'm very happy with Simona and
thank you for
all the efforts and hard work you had to go through to send her.
Simona is much better than I expected. To me, she sure has been
worth
all what it took to get her all the way from Virginia to here.
She shows
an excellent behaviour, is a beauty and has amazed everyone she
meets.
Even though she is so young, is very smart and a very fast
learner. I've
accomplished great progress in her housebreaking in just a matter
of
days, also, she is quickly learning to stay oustide of
'restricted'
areas, loves to play with her toys and for what I see, teaching
her
'fetch' will be just a natural extension of the games she plays
now.
Many thanks for this great dog!

Hi Jeannene & Nick
I just wanted to know if you have received the pictures of
Clarise??? I sent
them US mail about three weeks ago. I want to make sure that you
got them OK,
or if I had to go looking for them. If you have got them. Would
you please
let us know. Also, how do you like them?? She is getting bigger
and smarter
every day. I will be having knew pictures soon. Can you receive
pictures over
AOL??? If so. I will send them to you through E-mail.
Clarise loves to go for rides. She likes to sit in the front seat
with me
like a little queen. She is doing very well at class.
We are putting a deck of the back of the house. She is like a
galzelle
jumping over all the boards. She is very agile. Loves to jump for
the Kong.
We lost one today. I had to go down and buy another one. Go
forbid she does
not have her Kong!!!
Hope all is well with Vicky and Lance!!! Also you and Nick. Have
a good
night!!!

Hi Jeaneanne - reporting in on Eli again!
But first, congratulations on Lance's great showing! Good
to know Eli's dad
is such a great guy!
Yes, Eli's feet are BIGGER than Orry's, and Eli looks bigger
every day. I
missed dog class yesterday because my horse fell and hurt his
knee earlier
this week, so I had to go and walk him and do nursing duty.
Anyway, back to Eli. He's gorgeous! I adore him and
so does Orry. He is
teething and not eating as well, in fact I have to coax him to
eat. Hasn't
stopped him growing though! And, he's VERY smart.
He's figured out how to
push the sliding door screen open and LET HIMSELF into the
house!! Looks
like a lock is in order. He was digging up my patio, so I
scolded him each
time and put him in his special outdoor pen with doghouse
(literally in the
doghouse!). It took two times and he hasn't touched the
patio in over two
weeks. He's finally starting to figure out not to
jump on the screen too
(hmm, maybe that's because he's figured out how to open it????!)
I've attached just one picture - tell me if you can download it.
...
Well, speaking of Eli, the one thing he hasn't figured out is how
NOT to
harass my cats. He's had Kiera cornered under the stool
behind me, barking
at her for the last 10 minutes. So I'm going to say 'have a
great weekend'
and break up the action!
Take care,
Janet, Orry, Eli, and the rest of the bunch...
Hi Jeanneane!!!!
How are things with you guys??? Just thought I would send you a
long awaited
update on Clarise. She is doing wonderful!! She went in on
Monday to be
spayed. Had a little problem with the anesthesia. I guess when
she came out
of it, she got real sick. The vet had to give her a shot to stop
the effect.
Poor girl was out of it the rest of the night. Now she's back to
normal.
Well almost. I still have to keep her quiet for the next 5 to 7
day's. NOT
easy for her. Our vet adores her!!! Say's she has wonder
confirmation an
temperament!!!
She now weighs in at 60 lbs. Eli has to be near 75 or so. He is
huge!!! They
all get along very well. Clarise loves the water now. Are you
sure she
doesn't have any Lab in her??? When we are at the lake. She will
not get out
of the water!!! She jumps off the dock, chase's the waves as they
break on
the shore. She will even put her head under water for a stick or
rock!!!
When we are home. We can't keep her out of her kiddy pool.
Classes are going well. She is very much like her mom!!! Looks,
smarts,
loves to play and play and play!!! She can not get enough of the
Kong.
That is her most favorite toy!!!
We don't let her have it all the time. Only when we go out to
play with her.
This way she has something special to look forward to. We try to
run her
good every night. This way we get a good night sleep!!! She has
calmed down
some what. What a love. We get kisses, tail wags hugs!!! She
loves to be
with us!!!
I have some pictures I am going to send to you through the mail.
You can
keep them an put them in your puppy album if you have one. How
are Vicky and
Lance doing?? Has Lance won any more shows?? Give them both a hug
for us!!!
Just one more thing. We want to thank you for the most Loving,
Affectionate,
Beautiful little (BIG) girl. We love her very much!!!
Have a great night!!!

Hi!
I'm Sir Lancelot's Dante, but sometimes my human mother calls me
Darling
Precious Sweetheart. I am cute! She tells me I look
like Black Velvet.
When I get bigger they'll probably drop the Precious part.
These people,
have always had white German Shepards. They'd always talked
about
having a black one someday, but neither of them had seen one in
person. Their
son is the one that arranged to get me from my real mother and
father, Vickie
and Lance because we had just lost Wolfie. There is another
White German
Shepard guy--Rommel--who is 3. He's kind of goofy. He
means well. He's about 110
lbs and thinks he is a lap dog. He's affectionate to most people
and he's
good to me. He's my new brother. We get along very
well.
I'm fearless, so I stalk him and attack whenever I can. I
can sometimes be
seen with a small tuff of white fur in my mouth. So far I
have gotten away with it.
I love to play with Rommel. Rommel is always looking inside
for me to come
outside. He has always lived outside. He isn't
housebroken. Wolfie was.
Speaking of housbreaking, I am very smart. They, my human
parents, decided I
would live in the laundry room since it is winter and I have that
fine fur. It
is a pretty big area and has a bathroom off of it. They put
down papers in the
bathroom and by the back door and in less than 24 hours I figured
out what that
meant. I always use papers in the laundry room. When
they take me out to the
family room to play, which is whenever they are home, they have
to watch me for
my "signs." I'm pretty good, but not totally
perfect. But I'm still a Precious
Darling Sweetheart, so I get away with a lot. I have tons
of toys....................
enough for more than one dog. I get small portions of
doggie treats when I go to the bathroom outside. They make
me sit for the treat, too, and I oblige them, but it seems like
they are trying to kill two birds with one stone: Teaching
me to sit and rewarding me for going outside at the same
time. You'd think I should get two treats. They
bought me one of those big crates to live in in the laundry
room. It is huge. My mother read that it would take
4-5 days for a puppy to get used to going in there to sleep. I
went in immediately. I'm no dummy. I think those
books were written aboutdogs that aren't the sharpest pencils in
the pack. I've grown,too. I now weigh
about 21 lbs. I went to the vet the week after they got me
for my shots (Dec
30, 1999) and check-out and I weighed 11 lbs then. I don't
quite have German
Shepard Ears yet. Once in a while I do, but most of the
time the tips are
falling over. Mom said she'd love me even if I had Labrador
ears. When Dad got
me for Christmas from Fred, et.al., Mom was there and she got
tears in her eyes
watching her husband when he finally realized that this bundle of
black they
were putting in his arms was for him. I think if they had
gotten another white
German Shepard they would have expected it to be just like
Wolfie, who was
supposedly very smart and very beautiful. Since I am black
there are no such
expectations of me, but I think I'll just grow up smart and
beautiful also.
Love, Dante
P.S. I made my mom write this since I'm young and still
using those fat first
grade pencils.
Dear Jeanneane & Nick:
Samantha is three months old and doing extremely well. She is a
very quick
learner. It didn't take her long to be housebroken. She is a
talkie and very
alert when it comes to any type of noise. She is very good around
dogs that
she knows and not afraid of dogs she doesn't know. She is very
friendly to
people and kids. Dr. Wiest thinks she's going to be a really big
girl. He's
very impressed with her demeanor and her looks. He thinks she
will be a good
dog for shows and breeding.
I think that she has Vicky's personally and Lance's body style
and beautiful
coat. She loves the outdoors and loves to be loved. She is
already starting
to become protective of her home and Loire but she is still
daddy's little
girl. Loire say's when I'm at work she becomes a little hellion.
When I
arrive home, she becomes an almost perfect little girl. She does
well in the
truck and is starting to get the handle on walking on the leash.
She
understands No, sit, down, go to bed, come, cookie, no bite
"sometime,"
outside and go eat. Working on fetch, she has figured it out and
she does it,
without me saying it most of time. She likes her crate. A lot of
time when
we're upstairs, she goes downstairs by herself. I don't worry
about her. She
doesn't seem to get herself in trouble since she has toys to play
with. She
doesn't have a favorite at all. Here is one of her
pictures.
Yours Truly,
Michael & Loire
