| Who Am I?: (snippet) Open quote, "Let me start off by telling you that I'm not the greatest baseball player that has ever stepped up to the plate. Fortunatly for me, I've never played baseball, or even enjoyed it for that matter. I'll continue by informing you that I'm also not the greatest football player to ever take the field. Unfortunatly for me, that is my favoriate sport, and unfortunatly for you, that is what my story is about...football. I really don't know how, but in some way, shape, or form, I made the team. This insn't your average varsity high school team. Well, it's not even a high school team at all for that matter. It's professional, NFL, National Football...League! I proudly sport the beautiful colors of the rainbow: Blue and Silver. I live in Texas, home of the Da-llas Cow-Boys! Yeah, I'm one of the greats! I've practiced with the best of them: Kurt Warner, Marshall Faulk...wait a minute, that's the L.A. Rams. Didn't they say something about moving to St Louis some time ago? I wonder what ever happened with that. St Louis could use a good team or two! Anywho, yeah, so I've played amongst the best...what were their names again?... PURCHASE THE BOOK |

| No Greater Love: (snippet) A friend once asked me, "In my opinion, what is the greatest thing about God's love?" That is one of those questions you wish you could have had asked on a final exam: because it is so easy to answer. The answer is simple. Everything. For the sake of argument; however, I will elaborate a bit more. I might as well go ahead and make this a 3-point thesis. I will be completey blunt in stating my 3 points and the thesis. This is a deductive essay which should leave no chance for questioning, rumors, or confusion. For those of you who may be writer's illiterate, I will 1st break down the basic structure of a 3-point thesis (This is to eliminate any confusion, and remain true to the deuctive writing style.) Webster's Dictionary defines it as such: "1. A proposition maintained by argument. 2. An essay written to obtain an academic degree." I am not writing this thesis for any class to obtain a degree. So in real people human terms, a thesis is the writer's opinion about a certain subject. With that being said, my thesis is as follows: Nothing is greater than God's love, because everything about it, is what makes it so great. Observing the traditions of a deductive essay (A deductive essay is one that states its point and what the subject is from the very beginning. This is opposite of its counterpart; inductive, which does not state its main point from the beginning, and keeps the reader guessing as to what it may be until the later parts of the paper) I will state my 3 points. There are far more than only 3 reasons, but keeping with the customs, I will name only 3. First I feel that I should state that there are 3 parts in the relationship process with God: salvation, sanctification, and glorification. To recieve salvation, you would have to receive it from a God who already loves you. That is the 1st reason, beacuse He first loved me (us). For those who have received their salvation, and found themselves backslidding, and sinning again, we are the reason for my second point. The second point is because He is married to the backslidder. The final process in this 3 step relationship, is the ultimate glorification we shall receive upon our transfer into Heaven (providing we lived a fine life of sanctification); which is the third point of my thesis: His love is agape. These 3 points, amongst others, are only piecs of God's great love... PURCHASE THE BOOK |
