COMPRESSION TEST
Tools needed are :

Compression gauge
5/8 spark plug socket
8" extension
ratchet(3/8 drive)
pen and paper

While the car is cool take all the spark plugs out by removing the wires only from the plug end and marking them so that you know which goes where. Next take each plug out and also disconnect the coil wire from the ignitor end of it. It doesn't matter which hole you put the spark plugs back in, they do not have to be in order just the wires. Also you might want to take a look at the plug as they can tell you how your motor is running as well.

You install the gauge by screwing the threaded end into the number 1 cylinder. The one to the far left of the motor. Then you get in the car and turn the key as if you are trying to start the car and let it crank for about 5-7 seconds with your foot fully pressed on the gas pedal. then get out and check the gauge to see what it reads.

Write it down and then do the next cylinder and the next til all of the cylinders are done. The maximum compression you can get out of a TURBO motor is 155.

After you are done make sure when you re-install everything you reconnect the coil wire.
