Remember the Retra fuse? Good, cuz now we gotta run two wires from each contact of the fuse through the firewall via the grommit located on the firewall. (Note: I am not sure which models of the Probe contain this grommit. On my BASE model Probe it is located on the Driver's side straight in line with the Steering wheel, there should already be several large wires running through it, but a few more should fit. After you run the wires through the grommit, (if available), then make a weird contorting position out of your body and lay back down in your Driver's side floorboard. There should be a hole or space of some type giving you access to the guts of your center console(Behind your Air Conditioner, Radio etc,) run the wires through here and use some zip ties to hold the wire to an object you deem appropriate. Next Remove your center console trim piece. Do this First by removing the cover that goes over the cigarette lighter, shifter(auto/manual). I do this by pulling the parking brake up and leaving the keys in ACC and shifting all the way down to 1st gear (Note I have an automatic, a manual shifter should be cake cuz it is smaller). You dont really have to remove it all the way just enough so you can get access to the two(I Believe) screws at the bottom of the console trim piece that hold it on. Alright, after you remove this piece just find a place to mount a push button momentary switch readily available at any electronics store. Connect the two wires to this switch however you see fit so long as metal makes secure contact with metal. Then reverse the process of putting everything back together and clean up your install and hide your wires and such. Then put an inline fuse on one of the wires running to the fuse. Everytime you push this button the lights will move a little, adjust height as needed.
