Flame

This is my pride & joy, Flame. He's my 4 year old sorrel gelding. He was my first colt & l did all the preliminary training myself then eventually put the first ride on him w/ some help from a friend (Thanks Jeff) put the first ride on him. Sadly, l had to have him gelded as l could not handle him at the time, but alot's changed since then & l wish l hadn't gelded him as l can now work w/ studs. He's my cutter to be, he's been started on cattle but needs alot of refinement, l need to see a specialist about him. Any cutting trainers in the Collin/Hunt county area get in touch w/ me.

Like me, Flame's originally an Okie (that's right, Okies). He's from Turpin, OK. We bought him from Delmar Miller at 6 months of age. He's a spring foal so by AQHA standard age rating he was a young yearling. He's 15 hands & has beautiful conformation. His daddy was a race horse & his great-great grandaddy on his momma's side is Doc Bar. Flame is appendix being half TB & half QH (thoroughbred & quarter horse). He has alot of personality & is sweet & docile as a horse gets. We have a strong bond & l can get him to do anything l ask of him due to that. lt's a shame that he'll never be able to breed though, he would produce great offspring. So until he does something his value is pretty much to me only.
