Grown Up?

One day I will be all grown up-

Lost in a world bigger than my room.

How will I know what to do?

I prey that day will not arrive soon.

I like my world of toys and games-

Teddy bears sit at every turn.

I already know how to count and spell-

What more can I possibly learn?

I am charming, and sweet- did I mention I'm cute?

Many would say I am clever.

So perfect am I just a small child

That I might stay a kid forever!
