9. This is Cahir Castle, in Cahir (of course). Cahir is a town in County Tipperary. This castle is one of the largest in Ireland.

 
 10. This Is Market Square in Mitchelstown, in County Cork. Mitchelstown was not one of the group destinations, so one weekend I went by myself. My ancestors left from Kilbeheny, a very small village about three miles outside of Mitchelstown. I've always wanted to visit. It's q very prosperous town located in the valley between the Galty and Knockmealdown mountains. I don't know the significance of the statue in the square.

 

 11. This is also in Mitchelstown. Those are the Galty mountains in the distance.
