Few Things About The School
For the less informed or the uninitiated here is a little the school:
Our School was founded by the Capuchin Fathers in 1904 (yes, we are only half a dozen years away from celebrating our
centennary!) and is now run by the Roman Catholic Diocesan Education Society, Ajmer. The School was originally
started as the Boys' Primary Branch of the St. Mary's Convent ( yes, the "convent"!! How embarassing!!) who were
housed in "our campus" then. In 1908, they found a new home near Alwar Gate and thereafter we progressed to
become the Best School in town. ( are any mayoites listening??)
The school is presently a Senior Secondary School, affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, though
it has seen phases of being attatched to various Boards/Universities and being an Inter College and whatever the
times demanded.
St. Anselm's and Anselmites have always been in the leading performance on all fronts whether academic,
literary, sports ( who could forget the unforgiving and brutal bashing all the local schools had at our hands at the Basektball courts!)
and also freaking out, much to the chagrin of most of our well respected disciplinarian principals and teachers.
