will i know a junky
sharpshooting guns
conversing lifelong with friend death

if i wear glasses
will i speak in wisdom
posing in glory nude
leching in fantasia gay splendour

if i wear dust in my hair
will i scream through highways
writing gassed chevy american latitudes
feeling kesey, mcclure calling my kerouac name

if i wear my
revolutionary polite madness
bare my orchard contemplation
in raving footpaths
will i hitch a ride on my wild past?
