First Mate's Tourney XXXXI
was held on 9th September at Hazelwood Park.

The First Mate is chosen by Rapier Tourney. The winner's duties is to protect the ship, it's Captain and Master. The tourney is an auction tourney. Thanks to the generosity of the artisans of Innilgard, again, we had many wonderous prizes.

  • 3 books - mainly on Elizabethan theme - donated by Lady Fionn
  • 39 glass beads with raised dots, or lamp work beads donated by La Signora Onorata Katerina da Brescia.
  • Large wooden trinket box donated by Lady Hana the Orphan.
  • approx 4 m of cream coloured cotton (machine) bobbin lace donated by La Signora Onorata Katerina da Brescia.
  • blue and white sari donated by Vicountessa Lucrezia Lorenz
  • a pair of wooden pattens made and donated by Lord Dafydd Wallraven and La Signora Onorata Katerina da Brescia.
  • peacock feathers donated by Lady Collette de Harcourt
  • bottle of mead donated by Baroness Alycie of Stirling.
  • promisory for 'feast-o-cratting your event' donated by Lady Michiline de Lyons.

The auction tourney raised 221.40 gold towards Innilgard Rapier and 24.60 gold (10% of total) to the Crown Coffers, as our Tithe. Huzzarrrrrh!
