Milkrun By Sarah Mlynowski- This was a great book it totally hit home. I could relate to most of her problems in a way. I recommend this book because it makes you feel normal about your not so normal live, smile at your bad dates, and look forward to a good ending like this book has.
Jemima J By Jane Green- This is Jane Green's second book and it made me fall in love with her. This is the perfect book to read on a hot summer day laying outside drinking a cold margherita. The story is pretty much an "ugly duck blooms into a beautiful swan" theme. It makes you belive that you can do anything and you can do it for no one else but yourself. WONDERFUL book!! I highly recommend it.
Mr. Maybe By Jane Green- The main character in this book is one that I can definitely relate to. Libby Mason, 27, enjoys her fashionable career in PR and is determined to marry a rich handsome guy who will support her style and bring her to all the "it" places.. To those who know me. Does this sound familiar? Back to the plot. Libby is torn between her "dream" guy and the guy her heart is after, Nick the striving author and pub crawler. This is the perfect book for any single girl in her twenties or thirties. You will not want it to end.
Easy By Emma Gold- This is truely one of my favorite books of the summer. Gold's nameless protagonist is outspoken, crude, confident, and single. She has a long list of criteria for future boyfriends and doesnt break certain rules in dating. Allthough she has a high failure rating she continues searching like an energizer bunny for her perfect man. She must find herself before she can find a lifetime partner. Is this possible. READ to find out.
Shes Come Undone By Wally Lamb- Im usually not into men authors or Oprah's Book Club books but this book was a WINNER. Once I picked it up I could not put it down. I was stunned how a man could have wrote a book so captivating with a a woman as the narrator. I was more impressed with the writing than the story. This book is a fantastic chronical of a woman's life filled with upsets and wild turns.
The Davinci Code By Dan Brown- This is the best mystery I have ever read. I loved it! This book is full of controversy surrounding the Catholic Church, Mary Magdalene, Davinci, and Jesus but a must read for EVERYONE!!!!
