He gave us so many things, we seem to overlook just all that He does,
For if we sat back and pondered on His Blessings from above
They would be innumerable, I am sure of this one thing
So let�s give PRAISES, let our hearts sing, to our Master and our King!

As we prepare for this holiday, let�s keep our Lord in mind
For He gave us all this to enjoy, but only for a time
One day we will have a supper with our Lord, how grand that it will be
To be seated with the one who died for you and me.

Thanksgiving is a time of closeness with our loved ones far and near
They get together for this holiday, sharing all the joys of another year
So as we share this holiday, let�s keep this one thing in mind
Without our Lord, it couldn�t have been, our lives would never have entwined.

So while feasting on all the wonderful food this thanksgiving day
Remember to thank the one who sent all good things our way
Enjoy your day with loved ones you hold so dear
Thank God for another time together, it�s a precious time each year.

This will be my third Thanksgiving without the one that I call Mom
She loved Thanksgiving day, all the food, the laughter, the fun
She loved when all her children would gather round her table to eat
She�s no longer here with us, her life in now complete

Complete and perfect with our Lord, He took her home to suffer no more
It broke our hearts to see her go, we miss her and our lives are changed for sure
Her storms were rough, but through each phase she grew stronger through her pleas
She fought the battle here on earth, and victory she did see.
