When I woke this morning
Praise to God I give
I stand in awe of His beauty
And I thanked Him for another day to live.

You see He is the creator
Of this beauty that I see
He is also the giver of life
He has been so good to me.

He has blessed me with so much
And I'll never be thankful enough
He's the source of all I have
And He fills me with His love.

Each day I wake, I get closer to home
And the road sometimes gets weary
But I must hold to my Savior's hand
For I know the time is nearing.
