Sometimes I sit and watch when the dark clouds roll in
Although my heart is beating fast because I know what lies ahead
My Lord says "fear not" and I try so hard to do that
But the darkness that comes with the storm that rages
Is more sometimes than I can stand as my mind prepares me for what I face.

See the storms of our life are no different, they sometimes are unbearable
But God's right there with us, if on Him you place your trust
He'll shelter us from the storms of life
He'll hold our hand all the way
He'll give us peace and tranquility
So we can make it through the day.

So whatever storm you're facing
Know our Creator will provide
The safety through the storms of life
If in Him you'll trust and confide.
