When God spoke the world into existance
He created Man and Woman
He gave them a special kind of love
A Father with strong hands, and a Mother with a soft heart
For children they would be blessed with
To train up in the Lord, so they would never depart.
God placed us in the care of special parents
So we could feel security and know what it took to be like them
To love the Lord and follow His commands
To grow up so we would know how to accept Salvation's plan.
Fathers are natural leaders, Mothers are loving and appreciative
They give instruction and guidance, giving protection and provision.
So children be mindful of your parents
For they have a big responsibility
They have your best interest at heart, as our Father in heaven does
Love them and care for them, as God promised long life to those who
honor and love.
