The storm had just passed over and the clouds were bursting bright
The beauty of it all, I stood in awe of His Majestic work
As I focused on God, His love, His mercy, So at my heart I took a second look.
I thought of all the ways I fail Him, this great God I serve
How my mind sometimes wanders and yet He shows me His great love
Ho knows I�m not perfect that my ways sometimes falter
Yet He knows my heart, and sometimes it takes me back to the alter.
A place where I can talk to Him and tell Him of my fears
A place where I find sweet peace and mercy through my tears
The tears of a repentant heart, God knows each one that falls
He is right there with me, ready to break down those walls.
He will never leave nor forsake me, He will go with me all the way
And without Him to guide me and keep me I couldn�t make it one single day
I want His presence to abide with me in everything that I do
I want to make it home someday, dear friend, �How about you�?
Come go on this journey with me, you�ll not regret one single step
For Jesus is the best friend you�ll ever have and He will ever be your help
He�ll guide you through each passing day, He�ll be on your left and on your right
Then we can join hands together as we take our Heavenly flight.
