In this picture I see a dove, a cross, hands, a crown, and blood
It portrays the plan of salvation "For God so loved the world"
You see it took God's only begotton Son to fulfill that wonderful plan
He sacrificed Him to die on the cross for the soul of mortal man.
When I look at the CROSS, I see a place where the Holy of Holies was
sacrificed
Acting on obedience to His Father, He was the only one who could die
For He was the Perfect ultimate sacrifice, so God's plan could be
fulfilled
The plan that included me and you, laid out in His Father's will.
When I look at the CROWN OF THORNS, they placed upon his head
I see the pain He must have bore, but not a word He said
He knew what He must endure, and the pain that He must bear
We should have been the one to suffer and the crown of thorns to wear.
When I look at the BLOOD, I see drops that were shed for me
His cleansing, innocent, precious blood was necessary to make me see
That through His blood shed, He brought redemption to my soul
And gave me eternal life, sanctified me, washed me clean, and made me
whole.
When I look at the DOVE, I see a symbol of the Holy Spirit that dwells
inside of me
For His word says He came straightway out of the water and the Spirit of
God descended like a dove
His Father was well pleased in Him, His Beloved Son
I feel Him in all I do, He is sufficient for my every need
He leads me , He guides me, and to His spirit, I take heed.
When I look at the HANDS, they remind me of my eternal life
For He's there with outstretched arms to bring us home, He desires for
us to accept Him
In His word He tells us it is not His desire that any should perish
He said, "I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish
Neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand", these words, I'll
always cherish.
You see our Lord is waiting there to take you into His fold
He looks for you, His lost sheep, cause He loves you this were told
I know this is true today, for He found me, the lost sheep that had
strayed
I now am His and He is mine, and I am right where I want to stay.
