Encounters : Knight Sabers 2033:
Another Story of Bubble Gum Crisis

Okay, this is first attempt at a short Bubblegum Crisis story. This story has some characters
that are in my novel-sized story (Bubblegum Clash!) which I haven't finished yet. This story
takes place about 6 months before the events in Episode 7: Double Vision of Bubblegum Crisis.

This story contains my character because he's the fifth Knight Saber. This story contains Priss
and Michael (my character) and a bunch of old friends from Crisis......

"Chee Baka!!! Get on with the damn story! I don't have all day!"

"Hai Priss! I'll start now."

You took a first-class trip to Paris
You danced in the streets of Spain
You followed the sun to Rio de Janeiro
Cause you got so sick and tired of the London rain.

But honey, late at night
When you close your tires eyes
You'll be there
And I'll be here
And one of us will cry

It's me, it's me
When you need something more
Something you're dying for
It's me, it's me
When you can't see too clear
Baby, I'm always near
It's me

You played your cards, you felt the sorrow
Cause all that dealer dealt was pain
But baby, where you gonna play tomorrow
The stakes were too damn high
And now, you're broke again
You can trip around till all your money's blown
But who's the man that'll take you in
When all your luck is gone

It's me, it's me

What are you searching for
I know you can find my door
It's me, it's me
I know you've sinned every sin
But I'll still take you in
It's me

And me, I'm sitting here
Nothing much has changed
You broke my heart to pieces, babe
But that's nothing strange
Well, I ain't angry
That's all come and gone
My arms are still open wide girl
To catch you when you fall

And if someday you realize
Just where you belong
I'm the man that'll take you in
When all your luck's gone

It's me, it's me
When you need something more
Something you're dying for
It's me, it's me
When you can't see too clear
Baby, I'm always near

It's me, it's me
What are you searching for
I know you can find my door
It's me, it's me

I know you've sinned every sin
But I'll still take you in
It's me
Yeah, baby, it's me

Alice Cooper - "It's Me"

Sylia and Priss had gotten into a fight...over Michael. Michael was Sylia's choice for being the
fifth Knight Saber. He was a childhood friend of Sylia's. About five months ago Priss and Michael
fell in love. They kept quiet about their relationship. Sylia found out about it after Michael
was seriously injured by Largo during the fight on top of the Genom building. Priss nearly got
herself killed in the fight against Largo due to her love for Michael. She lost to many friends
to that bastard Largo and his counterpart Brian J. Meison. Her first boyfriend, then Sho's
Mother Rei, Sylvie and Anri were also killed by him. and she wasn't about to let Michael die.

Now here they were Linna and Sylia, Nene and Priss, and Michael in Sylia's penthouse above the
Silky Doll.

Sylia started to yell at Priss. "Why didn't you tell me you loved him? You know it's against the
rule number 10."

"Never get involved with a man. Umph, I can't help it if he's part of a team." Priss snorted.

"Sylia, it happened over a period of five months." Michael took Priss' hand. "I do love her.
And I will stay with her."

"GET OUT MICHAEL! THIS DOESN'T CONCERN YOU!" Sylia screamed at him.

Michael stood. He glared at Sylia. "Okay, if it doesn't concern me, why are you talking about me?"

"GO!" she yelled.

"Fine. I'll go." he kneeled near Priss and kissed her cheek. "I'll be downstairs in the garage."

He turned back to Sylia. "Christ, you've got a real attitude problem!"

"I'll be there in a few minutes." Priss whispered.

"Fine....I'll be waiting, Love." he smiled at her.

Michael got up and walked out of the apartment and slammed the door....hard.

"Sylia, I love him. You are not going to separate us at all." Priss glared at her.

"Priss, go with him. I'm totally pissed off with you. Go." Sylia muttered.

"Fine, we'll be back in a little while." Priss got up and left after Michael. She slammed the
door on the way out also.

"Sylia, they are in love. Can't you see that? It will make the team stronger." Linna said. "Priss
is right, after you work with a person, you can fall in love."

"Isn't it romantic? Two lovers fighting side by side and madly in love!" Nene sighed.

Priss and Michael rode their cycles through the city. Priss rode a regular red cycle that looked
alot like the Highway Star. Michael's cycle was a black Kawasaki Ninja.

Priss pointed to a church up ahead. Michael nodded and both of them pulled over. Priss removed
her helmet and shook out her hair.

Michael followed suite. "I'm going in Michael."

"Want me to go with you?" he looked at her with his serene purple eyes.

"No, this was my family's church. I come here once in a while to think. This something I've got
to do alone." She got off of her bike and walked over to him. She kissed his lips. "I'll be out
in about twenty minutes."

"Okay. I'll be back." he did in his best Arnold Schwarznegger voice.

She laughed and hugged him. "Okay."

"Priss, do you think Sylia will take us off the team?"

"I don't think so. She's too good hearted."

"Right." Michael pulled his helmet on over his raven colored hair. "I'll be back in twenty."

She waved and entered the church. It was dimly lit. Candles flickered from the sides of the
church. She remember coming here before the quake. After it, she lost all interest in a high
authority. Even today, she still didn't believe.

She walked over to the candles and put three new-yen into the box and lit a candle. "This is for
everyone I lost during my life."

She sat down in a pew and kneeled. She began to think about everyone close to her that had died.
A tear ran down her face. A hand fell on her shoulder. She thought it was Michael. She turned
around not wanting him to see her like this.

"Michael, that's not funny." she sternly said. No one was behind her.

She turned around. Someone was sitting on her right. The girl sitting there was looking at her.
She was wearing a white biker suit. Her black hair was pulled back into a pony tail.

"Sylvie?" Priss questioned the specter beside her.

"Yes Priss, it's me. Not Michael. By the way you do have a good choice in men." the girl smiled.

"Why are you here? I carried your dead body away from the DD." Priss had started to cry, sobbing
her words.

"Now, Priss. Don't cry. I'm don't have long to be here. This is just my ghost. Listen. I know
that you think you murdered me. That's not true. If you hadn't killed me, millions would have
died."

"But, I didn't want to kill you. I really didn't!" Tears were flowing now.

"Hush." Sylvie wrapped her arms around her. Her touch felt so real. It made Priss cry even harder.

"You have so much built up pain and anger inside you. Forgive yourself."

"I...I can't....I can't do it."

"Try. For me. Try to release your anger and pain for killing me."

"Sylvie, stop it! Your torturing me!" she screamed at her.

Sylvie sadly shook her head. "No. Your hurting yourself. You know that. I've got to go, Priss.
I forgive you, now you must forgive yourself." With that, Sylvie disappeared.

Priss wiped away the tears in her eyes. "Syl....Sylvie???" The church was empty again. 'She was
here. She held me.

Someone was sitting in front of her now. A man. He turned around and looked directly into her
eyes. "Now, Red Eyes. Stop crying, it isn't very becoming of such a young stern woman."

"Koji? You too? Why?" she saw the man she fell in love with a long time ago. The one that was
killed by Genom.

"Priss, I don't have long. Just like Sylvie I've come back to visit. Listen, I was killed by that
bastard Meison. He's dead now and he's getting what he deserved. Michael loves you very much. I
also love you, but not as much as him. You risked your life for him in your battle with Largo.
That says alot Priss. Don't cry for me anymore. Think about Michael, he is what truly matters now."

"Don't leave stay a little longer..." she sobbed. "Please don't leave me as Sylvie did......"

"I can't Priss. I can't. You love him, stay with him. Just remember me. I still love you." He
kissed her forehead. "Cheer up Red Eyes."

When she closed her eyes, he was gone. She looked all around herself. Behind her two people sat.
They were a young couple about Priss' age. The one had Priss' eyes and other had her good looks.

"Mom! Dad!" she exclaimed.

"Priss-Chan." the woman smiled warmly.

"Mom, I miss you." Priss said touching the woman's face. "I've missed the both of you so much."

"We've both missed you. Priss. It wasn't your fault that we died. The quake took us." Her dad
slowly said.

"I know, but I get a feeling that part of it was me."

"No, you didn't have anything to do with us dying. We're proud of you. You're a singer and a
fighter. We knew when you were young that you would fight for what you believed." Her mother
touched her face. "I always knew that."

"I've been fighting in the both of your honor."

"I know that Priss. I know." her father patted her shoulder. "We both approve of Michael. And
were happy that your going to have a baby."

"Wha.....I didn't even tell Michael yet....I'm scared that he'll leave me."

"Tell him, I think that he'll like the idea of being a father. Just as I was when I found out
that your mother was going to have you."

"Daddy! I miss you. You were good to me."

"I know. I know. So many things I never got to tell you. So many things we never did."

"Mommy, please don't leave, like Sylvie and Koji did."

"We have to. We can only be here for so long."

"Why did you come here? Why did all of you come here?"

"Because we are here to help you to get on with your life. You are in a time of crisis. We came
to help you."

"I understand. To go any further, I must forgive myself."

"Yes. Priss-chan, we must leave. Just think of us, we'll be there."

Tears were openly flowing. "Like you all have always been there watching me, looking over my
shoulder."

Her parents faded away. She got up and exited the church. She felt different as if a weight of
worry had been lifted from her shoulders.

Michael was waiting for her outside. He took one look at her. "Jeez, it looks like you've been
letting the tears roll."

"I..I got something to tell you Michael." She walked over to him and began to cry on his shoulder.

"What do you have to tell me Priss?" He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer.

"I'm pregnant Michael. It's our child." she cried again.

Michael began to cry too. "A baby, Priss? Were going to be parents?"

"Yes, we're going to raise it." Priss tried to make it sound threatening.

Michael picked up on it. "Priss, if you think I'm going to leave you because of that, your wrong.
I love you and our child." He touched her stomach.

"I love you."

"I know that, Morning Mist. Let's go back home. I think you should go and lie down." Michael
told her and released her.

"I've got to do something first. I need to talk to Sylia."

"Okay, you're the boss, Red Eyes."

Her eyes got wide. "What made you say that?"

"Say what?" He asked not knowing what she meant.

"'Red Eyes' What made you say that?" she asked again.

"I dunno. It just sounded 'right' to say that's all."

She nodded. That was fine. "Good, I like that."

"It doesn't bother you?" he asked puzzled.

"No, it doesn't it just feels good to hear you say that." She kissed his lips and he wrapped his
arms around her tighter. She pulled back. "I've got to forgive someone."

He let her go and she climbed onto her cycle. "Sylia."

She sped off toward the Silky Doll. Michael put on his helmet and followed her.

Priss knocked slightly on Sylia's office door.

Her voice answered from the other side. "Come in."

"Sylia?" Priss stuck her head into the office and looked.

"Yes Priss. You can come in here." Sylia sat down the paperwork she was working on and looked up.

"I want to talk to you, Sylia."

"As I with you." Sylia stood and smiled her motherly smile. "I'm sorry about earlier. I lost my
calm. I shouldn't have."

"I'm sorry that I flew off the handle too. I just wanted to say that I'm sorry and I've forgiven
myself....about Sylvie..."

Sylia nodded and sat on the edge of her desk. "It's hard to forgive yourself, I know."

"And I also have something to add." Priss lowered her head.

"What would that be?" Sylia asked. Taking off her glasses

"I'm pregnant, Sylia. It's Michael's....ever since we've been together...I've been faithful to
him. I just want you to accept it."

"I already have.....You're still part of the team, and all of us will help raise the baby."

Priss ran into Sylia's arms. "Thank You!"

Sylia hugged her with motherly arms. "We'll give the baby a very happy home. Remember, we are
family."

Somewhere, four beings nodded in approval. They knew that their work was complete and maybe
things were going the way that they should.
