| ISRAEL CONTINUES TO SUFFER In 1948 a large number of well financed and well trained Jews, supported by wealthy and powerful western elites initiated over half a century of intense suffering. It started with the rape and massacre of Palestinians who were terrorised into leaving thier land, they remain refugees until this day dispersed throughout the middle east and the world. These Jews were supported and admired by Nazis, the British and the American elites. Ben Gurion stated "after the formation of a large army in the wake of the establishment of the [Jewish] state, we shall abolish partition and expand to the whole of the Palestine" The State of Israel has grow up on injustice and continues to treat its unfortunate citizens unjustly. For example Israels present illeagal settlements policies and thier related tax incentives are not only disasterous for Palestinians they are also an injustice for those Israelis who do not want to occupy the West Bank or Gaza. An injustice to make those peace loving Jews a target for the vengeful terrorism that is born of the illeagal settlements . It is beyond any doubt that the suffering of Palestine is greater than that of Israel, this should, however, not blind us to the fact that the State of Israel is also guilty of injustice in regards to its own Jewish citizens. The recent press coverage of the release of Vanunu highlights the injustice of the Isreali State. Israel not only brakes international law in an attempt to silence him, they also brake thier own domestic law. The injustice Vanunu suffers recieves international attention, but how far does this injustice perpetrated by the Israeli State against its own citizens go? Take the case of David Nir, an ordinary peace loving Jew, as an example. He was searching for the lost camera of his Japanese friend. Admittedly, it was close to a notoriously violent Itamar outpost. David had, however, arranged an escort of 4 IOF soldiers and had notified the residents of Itamar of his intention to search close to thier fence. He started to search, he was chased by Avri Ran, he tried to get IOF protection. David an Israeli citizen, had his face permanently damaged by the butt of an American M-16 rifle weilded by another Israeli citizen. David took his assailant, Avri Ran, to court. After delays of a month and a half, the judge acquitted Avri Ran from all charges (as expected); i.e. "it was not him" that delivered that blow, but "it is not known" who did. Before that, the state prosecution urged the judge to accept witness testimonies, but she refused to do so. David appealed to the High Court of Appeals at a personal cost of $1,100 so that witness testimonies would be considered in the prosecuction, but they refused. David commented on the case that The judge to summarize this farce trial rejected all that we know as true facts and adopted everything in there that was a lie. The false evidence of three of the soldiers had the major impact on the judge's considerations. The prosecution should never bring witnesses that oppose the claim, but here they did it. He believes that there were many other flaws in the proceedings as well. He is currently waiting to see if the State prosecution will appeal. Avri Ran claimed in court that it was not him who attacked David he claimed that there was a third settler who appeared from nowhere and struck David. Three of the four soldiers present there claimed that there were 3 attackers and not two. Their commander, however, told the truth in the trial (i.e. that David was attacked by two settlers and that Avri Ran delivered the blow with his rifle). We can see from the examples provided to us by Vanunu and Nir that Israelis are suffering from the injustice of thier own government. They are suffering from a government hell bent on its Zionist agenda, an agenda that favours the violent Jewish settlers such as Avri Ran over the peace loving Jews such as David Nir. Israel is suffering the injustice of a Zionist agenda financed by the selfish and aggressive capitalism of companies including Coca-Cola and M&S and of course the unjust British and American regimes.
