Time will never tell,
Age told by pain,
A blank hatred,
Unexplained,
Ruby tears,
From topaz eyes,
Scars beaten in,
For my daring to cry,
Each lash felt,
Biting back tears,
More lashes dealt,
For every one of my foolish fears,
Of course you'd never hurt me,
Just leave me in my shell,
You'll never hit me,
Just bruise my body,

I'm a ghost in a shell,
Watching shadows of people,
Fling their pain,
Anguish,
