Gene Kai

 – Tenor – Gene was introduced to Barbershop Harmony in 1972 and it’s been a love affair for him ever since.  His life long fascination with singing began in grade school in Nebraska where his teacher had the children sing solos before class. This fascination continued in high school where he sang in a mixed quartet called Teen Tones.  He has sung in a number of other Barbershop quartets before Priority Mail.  Gene and his wife Bev have three daughters. Gene works as a Hardware Communications Supervisor making sure the communications to the rockets launch properly at Vandenberg AFB.
