You're nothing but a stranger,
Someone I've just met.
Though we haven't talked that much,
You're someone I'll never forget.
I met you through a friend,
That also barely know.
Which I met through another friend,
That kept our friendship on the low.
My friend gave me yo number,
I gave her mine too.
She gave it to her friend,
That then gave it to you.
I wasn't gonna call you,
I had nothing to say.
I don't speak to strangers,
So I threw your number away.
One night I was home alone,
In need to talk to a friend.
All of a sudden the phone rang,
And you were on the other end.
You lifted up my spirit,
For I was really low.
God sent you for a reason,
That only he shall know.
Two strangers speaking,
Describes you and me.
Two friends bonding,
Is what other strangers see.
Your friendly personality,
Says, "I'm not in danger".
God has just introduced me,
To another Friendly Stranger.
