How to receive eternal salvation.
I would like to encourage anyone who is thinking about God to give Him a try. He is a gentleman, and will not force Himself on anyone. You have to invite Him to be in your life. If you would like to ask Jesus into your life, here is what you should do but it has to be real in your heart:
ADMIT that you are a sinner and that you can't change on your own.
REJECT your sins, turn away from them. (repent)
TELL GOD that you believe He sent His Son to earth to die on the cross at Calvery to pay for your sins.
TELL HIM you are ready to receive this free Gift of Grace, Love, and Mercy, and ask Him to come into your heart NOW! Thank Him for this Gift, and believe you have received it.
TELL SOMEBODY Somebody who will understand, a pastor, a Christian friend, or me! My email address is *[email protected]* and there is a link down below at the bottom of this page. This an important step to take so that you may be guided properly. You are going to have questions and will need answers.
YOU NEED TO GET A BIBLE 
and read the book of Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John. These are the four Gospels (Good news) and will tell you about Jesus. The Bible is your primary source of the knowledge of God. It's how He speaks to us. He doesn't always speak to us the way I described. It's usually from the Bible and that's enough.
NOTE:
~~There is an important note here: If you have received Jesus in your heart, you may go through a "honey moon" period. This is where you are "floating on air". It's kind of like being in love, but more intense. You may be consumed with the Holy Spirit, and there is nothing at all wrong or bad about this. It's what I call, a "taste of God". What you need to keep in mind, is you won't always be in this honey moon faze. You will eventually come back to feeling "normal" and this is where the work begins.
IS THAT IT?
Although you are SAVED and by grace, you have responsibilities as a Christian. You are responsible for reading God's word (The Bible) everyday as you can. You must pray with Him regularly. You should find a church
to go to so you can be encouraged by other Christians. (you can't do it alone! You need fellowship! It's important to your growth!) And you need to tell people about The Lord, and what He's done for you. This is called "Witnessing," and we are called to do it. You also need to remember that YOU are representing The Lord Jesus Christ, and must try very hard not to misrepresent Him by being judgemental, or pushy. The Holy Spirit will guide your every step if you keep in contact with Him. Read, Pray, fellowship, and tell others. And remember, to please contact someone so they can guide you.
