Quick Silver
First open a new file with the size of about 7 inches by 4 inches (or how ever big/small you want)
then type some text (I used the word Sample and jennybaby1017 is typed over it because it's by me)
next you can do some Blending Options (on your Layers window...go to Window then to Layers, to view Layers Window) to it such as:
I used 'Bevel and Emboss...' and 'Drop Shadow...'
