Preamble
Founded in 1940, the Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology has over the years maintained a working philosophy of technological excellence comparable to the best in the country.
PRINCIPIA-2003, in continuum with this ethos, is an endeavour to foster the scientific spirit and to integrate ZHCET into a vibrant information exchange based matrix of engineering institutions.



Overview
The event is an All India level Inter-Varsity Paper Presentation which will be held on 8th of March, 2003 and shall involve the cream of India's Engineering institutions including the IIT's and the REC's.
Papers are invited in the fields of
* Chemical and Petro-chemical Engineering
* Civil Engineering and Architecture
* Computer Science and Engineering
* Electrical and Electronics Engineering
* Mechanical Engineering

The Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor shall inaugurate the event at the Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology, AMU Conference Hall. The Chief Guest shall give away the citations and release the PRINCIPIA-2003 brochure.



Rules and Regulations
1.  Entry open for all undergraduate Engineering students.
2.  A maximum of two authors per paper are allowed.
3.  All selected participants shall be provided with free lodging and boarding.
4.  Participants shall be provided with OHP and MMP for the presentation.
5.  The abstract should not exceed a word limit of 300 words.
6.  The abstracts in text format (*.txt)should reach on or before 20th February
       via E-mail at the ID: [email protected]
7.  Time alotted for each presentation is 10+2 minutes followed by a question-answer session lasting
       around five minutes.
8.  The selected papers should be neatly typed on not more than 10 A4 size papers with Times New
       Roman font-size '12' and line spacing 1.5.
9.  The participants should bring along their Identity Cards and a Bonafide student certificate issued
       by their respective Principal/HOD.
10.The selected participants will have to register by paying a nominal registration fee.
