my opinion on the whole thing is simple...basically bush is in support of israel because they tolerate western values...that's it...because israelis drink coca-cola and wear nike, they are 'good'. even though the palestinians are the indigenous people of the nation...and it's all played out in the media that way too...cnn portrays the israeli's as freedom fighters and whatnot...the way i see it is as long as america has an intolerant, power-crazed clown in power like bush, the rest of the world is in trouble. i've never been more afraid of a world war than i am right now...you'd think that after all the years, wars, deaths and attacks that as a race we would've learned...but now we continue on the destructive path that we've been on since man walked the earth. i'm convinced that the human race is the worst thing to happen to the planet, we are the earth's cancer. if we don't stop fighting we will destroy our planet. bush is just begging to bust out the nuclear arsenals. it's going to heppen, and he hides it behind this facade of trying to 'liberate the people of iraq, and helping them...' he isn't helping them with the sanctions and bombings, hussein hasn't done anything since 9/11, and the inspectors have found nothing in iraq. it doesn't matter, the iraqi people are going to be the big losers here with more death and suffering, while we sit over here with our lavish lifestyles and big juicy steaks and still remain completely ignorant and clueless to the real issue at hand...i kinda hate trying to talk to people born and raised in the states....they don't understand that they country they life in is the main contributor and cause of most of the world's missery...this whole attack on iraq is just to divert attention from the fact that bush can't find bin laden...it's pathetic. and the worst part is a lot of americans don't even know the issues, problems, conflicts, etc, but as soon as they have the chance, they raise their flag and jump on the 'patriotism' bandwagon. gore would have been better, the whole florida recount was a joke. it was just an excuse to get bush as president. i think gore would have handled the 9/11 thing a hell of a lot better. bush used 9/11 as an excuse to get his ratings up.
