In the absence of Cabin Committee Chairman Terry McCarty, President Joe Conrey presented the following report:
Firewood was split by members prior to today's meeting. Some progress was made until unforeseen mechanical problems with the wood splitter prevented us from finishing.
Jack Moritz and Dennis Moore installed a new pump on the furnace but it was not able to pull fuel oil to the furnace. They will be checking the fuel tank and lines for a possible obstruction and/or leak. Furnace is still not working.
A work weekend will take place at the club on October 18 & 19, 2003. A tentative agenda of cleaning, painting and firewood was suggested.
The October Monthly Meeting will be held on the 18th at Noon.

Chuck Wilkins reported that Newt Voorhees suffered a stroke and was home recovering. All members wish him well and hope that he has a speedy recovery. A Get Well Card was signed by all in attendance.

Treasurer C. Wilkins reported that he is now paying our Connective Electric bill "on line".
C. Wilkins also reported that a check would be sent to the State of New Jersey in the amount of $25.00 for our non-profit status.
APPLICATIONS/MEMBERSHIP: Mr. Walter Cheesman 'JR'. was approved as our newest member. He and Mr. Wilkins will work out membership fees.
