Haadyai railway station
After 4 hrs of painintheass-takingly minivan ride from Krabi we reached Haadyai railway station only to find that the 1 and only train for the day to Singapore has just left (talk about impeccable bad timing). We waited for a few hours more for the night coach to KL where we'll transfer to train back to Singapore. The sun is setting.........the cows have come home.

KL Sentral railway station Day 6
The coach left at 7pm and dumped us somewhere in Kuala Lumpur like 4am the next morning. The railway station was totally dead when we finally made our way there. Except for that old granny who has lost her mind, looking forlornly to the distance........
This is really grand for a railway station. Actually it looks more like a train station that wannabe an airport......... Took the homeward bound train at 7.30am Goodbye KL!
zzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzz.......
~Transit Blues~ When you are in a strange land with strangers, 5 hours is like 5 decades. Here I am, waiting for the next train to the destination, savouring every minute of nothingness and inner silence. Even then, you still don't know very clearly where you're headed after getting to the destination. I don't know what to do with freedom. I don't know what to do by myself.......... (at KL Sentral)
Transience Transience is a train that carries you through the tunnel of time This train is moving past you I'll be on this train till I die Stopping at each station to greet new passengers and wave goodbye to alighting ones Who'll be on this train till the last destination. (7/8/2002: 2am)
