| Another year, another Christmas parade. John is in the Smee costume just before step-off. This pirate ship float is now next to one of the swimming pools at the Disneyland Hotel. |
| Here's John in his Chip costume for the "Cruisin' the Kingdom" parade. They used a psuedo "Friends" theme for this one. John and his partner rode the surfboard on top of this gorgeous yellow woodie wagon. On one day there was a surprise appearance by Frankie Avalon and Annette Funacello in this parade (that was Annette's last public appearance at Disneyland). Frankie had to come over and check out the woodie before the parade stepped off...he complemented them on their ride! |

| This is one of the costumes John wore in the Aladdin parade, next to the park's nursery. When he didn't have the turban on, he looked like Professor Fate from "The Great Race." This was one of my all time fave parades, but I didn't get around to taking pictures of it onstage. I loved the costume that had a humongous sword speared through one of the dancer's turbans. The parade recreated the Prince Ali parade sequence from the cartoon Aladdin. |
