Summary: A narrative in Willow�s mind as she kneels holding the limp form of her dead lover Tara; overwhelmed with memories, grief, and rage.....
�In my mind's eye I see you as you were when we first met; quiet and a bit mousy, stuttering as you shyly introduced yourself. Oh how cute that stutter was!
Even then I felt it, sensed the power inside of you, the magic. The more time we spent together the stronger that power grew, and that power gave you strength. Strength enough to face anything. Your family. My addiction. The world. It gave you the strength to walk away, and the courage to come back.
We shared this power, this love. It changed me as well. It filled me up and consumed me. You were my life.
As I open my eyes from the memories all I can see is red. The Blood...staining your clothes, covering my hands and the floor. I hold you as your life drains away with that blood.
How can you be gone when I am still holding you in my arms? Why?
With the power that we shared gone, a new force takes over. I am consumed with this power and the darkness it brings with it. Again I see red.. caused by the pain, the rage...and the vengence. Just as I once answered to the power I sensed in you, I must answer to this force.. it demands it.�
