"Enter Kojukio"
Zodoria.
Majestros and Katao prepared for the renewal of their conflict. Majestros was a hulking version of his previous self, making even the Ultra Super Saiyan form of a Saiyan seem smaller. Katao was unimpressed, but the others were terrified by what they sensed from Majestros.
"I don't think you're so tough, stinkypants!" Katao taunted the extremely bulked-up Majestros.
"You don't?" Majestros inquired tauntingly, his body completely healed from the damage inflicted to his previous form. "Let's just see!"
"Okay, but you asked for it!" Katao retorted with a cocky grin as he flew at Majestros to attack him, uttering a battle cry.
Katao displayed the incredible speed and power as before, but Majestros was able to block each and every attack Katao threw at him this time! Katao now realized that Majestros had increased both his speed as well as his power, so he tried harder in his struggle against the villain! Majestros' speed now seemed a bit more than Katao's! Within moments, Majestros had thoroughly frustrated Katao!
"Why can't I hit him?!?" Katao thought to himself as he fought hard against the increased power of Majestros. "He's gotten so much stronger and so much faster! This is insane! I'm at Super Saiyan Three! There's no way he should be as strong as me!"
Katao paused his offense to gather more energy for the battle, increasing greatly in power! Then he unleashed a flurry of energy wave techniques at Majestros, but Majestros deflected each and every one of Katao's rapid-fire blasts! Katao then paused to gather even more energy, and then he fired a massive kamehameha wave at Majestros, but Majestros slammed a two-fisted smash into the incoming attack and sent it hurtling off into the distance to explode like a major nuclear weapon!
"His power has become to great, even for their fused power at Super Saiyan Three!" Koji thought to himself as he continued to fight against the army of robots. "How can we defeat such a power now?!? He's too powerful for even the fused form of the boys to defeat, and they can't go back to the Chamber of Spirit and Time to train because no one can stand against him long enough to buy them the time they would need to improve enough to beat him! I just got back to my family and friends! It can't end this way!"
Majestros punched Katao in the face, bruising his cheek and knocking him back a fair distance through the air from the force of the impact! Katao yelped in pain as he clutched his face, grimacing in pain and frustration, joined by a festering anger! Majestros laughed at him!
"Come on now, boy!" Majestros taunted him, trying to provoke him into continuing the attack. "I thought you were a challenge for me!"
"Why, you! I'll make you eat those words!" Katao yelled in rage as he flew at Majestros, succumbing to the fiend's successful provocation. "You'll be sorry in a matter of seconds when I get my hands on you!"
Majestros blurred in and out of sight every time the boys tried to hit him, causing them to miss each attempt! Makiko now noticed this unsettling trend forming! She grimaced as she continued to fight the robots!
Other World.
Tong-Li looked up, an expression of resolute determination on his face as Yukio turned to him imploringly. Yukio seemed desperate.
"Come on, old Kai!" Yukio implored Tong-Li in growing frustration. "You made me see them all! You made me see their plight! You made me see the boy, the woman, and the little girl! Help me to save them!"
"To the contrary, I didn't make you see any of them," Tong-Li replied informatively. "You brought the visions on yourself, Saiyan. The crystal ball responded to your heart's deepest concerns. The visions were your doing, but I think I know a way this can be rightly resolved. I must summon Koji back here at once."
Concentrating hard, the old Kai's mind reached across the dimensions to connect with the mighty Saiyan's mind. The link established, he made his plan known to Koji, communicating the needed information.
"Koji, this is Tong-Li. Do you hear me?" Tong-Li's telepathic message came to the mighty Saiyan, almost distracting him as he fought.
"Yes, Tong-Li!" the Saiyan's telepathic reply shot back with passion. "I can hear you! What is it? Have you discovered a way to defeat our enemy?"
"Yes, but you must return here at once in order for it to stand a chance of working!" Tong-Li informed the Saiyan. "Do not delay!"
"I understand!" Koji replied telepathically once again, his heart filled with hope renewed. "I'll be there in a moment!"
Koji turned to the others, and they looked to him to hear what he had to say to them. They seemed desperate to hear his plan.
"There may yet be a way to defeat Majestros!" Koji informed them. "Just hold on until I return! I'm going to check on something!"
Using the instant transmission technique, Koji crossed dimensions and spatial distance to arrive on Tong-Li's Other World planet with Tong-Li and Yukio. They were glad to see him.
"So, what is this plan to defeat Majestros?" Koji inquired of Tong-Li in desperation and hope.
"I'm going to give my life energy to Yukio," Tong-Li explained, shocking both Saiyans. "With him restored to life, you may then take him back to Zodoria with you and perform the fusion to defeat Majestros! We don't have much time, so I don't want to hear any lip from either of you on the matter! When that halo disappears, the two of you must get back to Zodoria quickly! You can then fuse at Super Saiyan Two and exceed the power that the boys have achieved! I'll see you later!"
With that said, the old Kai fainted dead away and collapsed to the ground, motionless and lifeless. Yukio's halo then disappeared from over his head, but the two Saiyans were stunned by the suddenness of the old Kai's decision and stood over him gawking in disbelief. Suddenly, Tong-Li sat up straight, a halo having appeared over his head, startling the two Saiyans.
"What are you waiting for?!?" Tong-Li rebuked the hesitant warriors. "Get out there and finish this mess!"
Koji and Yukio turned to each other and smiled. Koji extended his hand, and Yukio took it. In a flash they were gone!
Zodoria.
Koji and Yukio reappeared on the battlefield. Makiko stopped fighting as she looked on in astonishment and disbelief. The others picked up her slack, continuing to fight the robots.
"It's time," Koji informed Yukio, getting his new ally's attention. "Let's go to Super Saiyan Two first, then we'll fuse."
"Agreed," Yukio replied as he nodded his acceptance of the strategy that Koji had constructed in his mind.
With that decided, the two Saiyan warriors uttered brief power-up cries as they transformed into Super Saiyan Two forms! They then performed the fusion dance, transforming into the Super Saiyan Two form of Kojukio - the resulting fused warrior they merged into! The others were incredulous as the resultig power surge blew the other heroes and the robots across the landscape for a short distance! Majestros and Katao paused their conflict when they noticed the massive power increase! Kojukio looked into Katao's eyes and smiled affectionately!
"You should go and destroy this fiend's space ship," Kojukio informed the boy superwarrior. "I'm going to finish this fight!"
"You're joking, aren't you?" Majestros laughed as he regarded the much smaller Kojukio with incredulous disbelief. "Are you mad? Who are you?"
"I am your end!" Kojukio declared with underscored intensity and determination. "But, if you want to know a name, just call me Kojukio!"
"You are insane if you think you can defeat me!" Majestros laughed at the new challenger before him. "I was told that this boy would destroy me, but he's nothing more than a pitiful plaything which has ceased to amuse me! I was told that a lone Saiyan in Super Saiyan Three form would defeat me, but I have far surpassed that warriors capabilities! Do you know how many times I've heard someone say they were going to destroy me?
"I've destroyed countless worlds and innumerable foes in the futile quest for a true challenge to my power! I've destroyed Nameks, Saiyans, Kais, Demons, Changelings, and other different species of fighters in my quest to find an equal! Now, you think this petty fusion technique will be enough? You are a fool, and I will slaughter you and every living being on this planet!"
"No!" Kojukio retorted, giving the villain pause with his piercing glare and his determined countenance. "You'll die!"
Without warning, Kojukio blurred out of sight, reappearing right in front of Majestros to hammer him with a powerful punch to the face! Majestros was knocked backwards by the attack, his cheek was bruised, and his lip was split from the impact! Kojukio then turned to Katao!
"You'd better hurry and get to his ship soon," Kojukio instructed Katao. "You won't be able to maintain the Super Saiyan Three level of power for long. You'll revert back to normal soon. Go take care of that space ship!"
Katao nodded, and then he flew off to do as he had been instructed, but Majestros wasn't about to let him destroy his ship! The fiend launched a powerful energy blast at the departing boy warrior, but Kojukio deflected that blast with one of his own, reacquiring Majestros' attention! Majestros scowled at Kojukio angrilly, but Kojukio smiled a cocky smirk!
"You shouldn't worry about the boy, not while you have me to contend with!" Kojukio replied as he gathered a great deal more energy with a short power-up yell, giving Majetros something to think about.
The two warriors blurred in and out of sight with speed which defied description! This new conflict put to shame any of Majestros' previous battles in its epic glory! Their speed and power was quite evident, and, where Katao was unable to match Majestros' new power, Kojukio seemed equal to the task! Their movements were beyond sudden, and their powerful clash echoed across the landscape like rapid-fire sonic booms! The entire planet trembled in the wake of their incredible conflict, and radical lightning flashed across the blackened sky overhead! The other heroes struggled to stay in such close proximity to the battle, and Makiko finally snapped out of her odd trance and regained her senses! The robots also had a difficult time holding their ground against the fury of the great battle between Kojukio and Majestros!
Powerful energy waves were flung about between them in the midst of brief dogfight-style hand-to-hand exchanges! It seemed that Kojukio was at least the equal of Majestros, and this infuriated the villain to no end! Majestros charged up and fired an incredibly powerful energy wave technique at Kojukio, but the fused warrior charged up and fired a kamehameha wave to match! The two blasts collided in mid-air and pushed against each other with incredible force! The power of the conflicting blasts sent powerful winds out in all directions, scattering robots, the other heroes, and large trees and rocks like debris in a cyclone! The landscape began to give way under the strain being put on it by the unbelievable contest of energy waves, and only the two warriors seemed to be able to stay anywhere near the point of conflict as they continued to scream in the exertion to continuously empower their respective attacks in the effort to overwhelm each other!
Unfortunately, Majestros' energy wave began pushing Kojukio's kamehameha wave back towards him, as Majestros was just a bit stronger and able to channel a bit more energy than Kojukio! Kojukio grimaced in horrified realization, and Majestros chuckled and then smiled diabolically!
"It looks like this is the end of the line for you, my friend!" Majestros taunted Kojukio. "Like I said before, 'You are a fool, and I will slaughter you and every living being on this planet!'"
Those words hit Kojukio harder than any attack ever could, striking to the core of his being and igniting his Saiyan rage! The rage exploded from within him, filling him with more power! Kojukio's kamehameha wave then began pushing Majestros' power blast back towards him, stunning the villain with incredulous disbelief!
"What ... is ... this?!?" Majestros inquired incredulously, his arrogant and confident countenance suddenly giving way to an expression of horror and utter disbelief. "This is ... impossible! ... No one can do this! ... This can't be happening! ... No! No!"
As Katao closed on the space ship, an exterior sensor reading triggered an alarm inside the ship! Moments later, an small force of demo-hybrids exited the space ship and flew to meet Katao! Katao didn't seem too concerned, and he engaged them relentlessly in battle, easily pummeling them with his vastly superior strength and power!
Back at the battlefield, Makiko, the Nameks, and Sumio regained their composure and watched the battle of the superpowers in the distance, even as the robots stood up around them to renew their conflict! The heroes then noted the robots surrounding them with grimaced expressions on their faces! Makiko transformed into a Super Saiyan in her rage and began unleashing her fury upon the robots like a woman possessed! The other heroes, unaccustomed to seeing a Saiyan female on such a rampage, were awestruck! They froze up as they watched in amazement!
"You guys go with Katao and make sure he's okay!" Makiko called back to the others. "I'll take care of these tin cans!"
"Just be careful!" Tieh replied as he, Kien, and Sumio began flying off to see if they could help Katao.
"Don't worry about me, Tieh!" Makiko responded while pummeling the army of robots with a vengeance. "I'll be fine!"
Meanwhile, Kojukio's kamehameha wave continued to push Majestros' power blast back towards him bit by bit! Both warriors continued to cry out from the strain of the exertion, and they grimaced from the effort! The swelling power of the two energy waves in conflict increased the intensity of the environmental effects almost to the level of that caused by the Super Saiyan Three transformation, and both warriors continued to increase the power of their energy attacks!
The Nameks and the Super Zodorian raced to the side of the fused superwarrior only to find that he was easily handling the demo-hybrids, so they turned their attention to the space ship and then to each other! They all nodded in agreement before charging up their favorite energy techniques to use on the space ship! Kien and Tieh charged up makosen-ha energy wave techniques while Sumio charged up his favorite energy bomb, and then they simultaneously fired their techniques in a coordinated attack! The energy bomb flew skyward before plummeting like a falling stone towards the ship, and the two makosen-ha attacks moved along a more direct, straight-line trajectory to the target, but all three energy wave techniques converged simultaneously on Majestros' space ship, blowing it into oblivion! The three heroes then joined Katao in battle against the demo-hybrids!
Back at the battlefield, Makiko was obliterating robots with ease while keeping an eye on the epic struggle between the two superpowers! The two superwarriors' energy waves continued to push against each other, but Kojukio's kamehameha wave was slowing its progress to a crawl moment by moment as Majestros' power blast surged with renewed energy from the fiendish villain's desperation!
"No!" Kojukio thought to himself as he struggled to overcome Majestros' power blast with his kamehameha wave. "I can't lose this fight! Everything is on the line now! This is it, our last ditch effort! We have nothing else if this fails! We can't fail! Everyone is depending on this fusion technique to bring home the victory and the sweet taste of security and safety that comes with it! This is for family, for friends, for second chances!"
With that last thought burning in his head, Kojukio's Saiyan rage renewed his efforts, and his kamehameha wave once more began pushing Majestros' power blast back with greater velocity! Majestros screamed in horror at the sight of the increased power of the kamehameha wave! Kojukio just emptied his full rage and fervor into an all-out effort to overwhelm the fiend, and his kamehameha blast overwhelmed Majestros' power blast completely and engulfed the fiend as it streaked from the planet and deep into space, far beyond that solar system!
When everything had finally calmed back down to normal, Kojukio grimaced by what he sensed! Majestros had been reduced to a limbless husk, but the fused warrior could sense the life force still within the fiend!
"He's still alive, and he'll regenerate himself soon unless I act quickly!" Kojukio thought to himself in grim determination.
Suddenly, Kojukio willingly powered down to his normal state, dropping out of Super Saiyan mode completely. Makiko, having just laid waste to the remainder of the army of robots, noted this with bewildered concern.
"What's he doing?" Makiko wondered in her silent thoughts. "His power level is greatly diminished in his normal state! He can't destroy that monster in his normal state! He was only able to hold his own in his Super Saiyan power level! What's he up to?"
Kojukio closed his eyes as he lifted his hands up to the sky, a sudden sense of calmness overtaking him. A strange breeze, filled with an intangible but annointing hope prevaded the air all around. Unseen energies seemed to draw from all around, even from deep space, to converge on a single locality - the Zodorian sky. Makiko suddenly grew silent, and she looked up to behold a great white ball of energy forming in the sky, growing larger by the second. She was amazed by this growing energy orb, feeling the great energy within it call out to her. She felt the compulsion to contribute to it, and so she lifted her hands up and surrendered energy to it.
In the distance, Katao, Kien, Tieh, and Sumio had finished with the demo-hybrids when they sensed it. Looking up, they could see the massive, still growing energy ball in the distant sky. They suddenly felt its potent serenity, and they too surrendered a portion of their energy to it as well.
Back at the lookout, the others also sensed this phenomenon, and they concentrated upon the serenity they sensed from it. Without even lifting their arms up, they too surrendered a portion of their energy to the energy ball, despite being unable to see it from so far away.
Back at the battlefield, Majestros had begun regenerating his mutilated body, regrowing limbs and healing other assorted damages he had sustained from Kojukio's kamehameha wave. Unbeknownst to him, the gigantic sphere of energy high in the sky had grown to the size of a small moon. Kojukio opened his eyes and smiled as Majestros had finished regenerating himself.
"Here's a little going away present for you, Majestros," Kojukio said in a calm voice with a calm countenance, despite Majestros' obvious seething rage. "It's called a spirit bomb."
Kojukio threw the spirit bomb at the vile fiend, and Majestros finally noted the terrible ball of energy closing on him, but it was too late to dodge it! He extended both of his hands in desperation, screaming as the spirit bomb came for him! When it hit him, it exploded like a volley of nuclear warheads hammering the same spot simultaneously! The explosion blew Kojukio and Makiko across the landscape for a great distance! The rushing force of the blast also washed over Katao, Kien, Tieh, and Sumio, blowing them across the landscape! Back at the lookout, the powerful winds could be felt by those there, but the winds were not strong enough to blow them over! There was a great, brilliant light at the heart of the explosion, and Majestros' screams could be heard for miles in the undercurrent of the explosion's fury! After what seemed like an eternity, calmness finally once again ensued!
