"The Future Is Now"
Zodoria.
Koji's power surge gave Majestros pause, and the supermenace looked on in disbelief! Koji glared at Majestros with a burning passion in his eyes.
"Where is he getting his power?!?" Majestros thought to himself as he pondered Koji's renewed energy. "Just a moment ago, his power was fading, diminishing from the fatigue of exertion! Now, his energy feels as strong as it was before! What is going on here?!?"
"This is what love and devotion can do for you, Majestros!" Koji growled at the curious supermenace. "It fuels me to new heights of power, the thoughts of my family and friends and of how much they're counting on me! My feelings for them stirs the Saiyan rage within me, and my power is renewed! I'm going to show you how much heart they impart to me in this hour of need!"
With a battle cry, Koji closed the distance and clobbered Majestros with a punch to the jaw, stunning the fiend! Koji followed that up with a knee to the midsection, doubling Majestros over and knocking the wind out of him! Koji then slammed a two-fisted smash into the back of Majestros' head, driving him to the ground with a crater-forming crash! Koji flew towards the crater where Majestros crashed to the ground to continue the fight!
Majestros suddenly released a surge of power, scattering debris and the dust cloud from over him and prompting Koji to use his arms to shield his face from the force of Majestros' power surge! Majestros flew up from the crater and hammered Koji with a savage punch to the face, stunning the mighty Super Saiyan! Majestros then swung that arm back the other way and swatted Koji across the other cheek with a backhand shot the stunned Koji again! Majestros then drove a roundhouse kick into Koji's head, knocking Koji across the battlefield and into the ground, where the Super Saiyan slid through the dirt on his back, carving a lengthy trail!
Majestros flew at Koji where he stopped slidding, but Koji rolled into a one-armed back handspring, evading Majestros' punch attempt so that Majestros only punched the ground! Koji then tried to connect with a flying side kick, but Majestros dropped down onto his own back so that Koji passed harmlessly over his head! Majestros kipped up to his feet with one fluid motion and turned to face Koji as Koji landed from his missed kick and turned to face Majestros!
Both warriors simultaneously fired powerful energy attacks at each other, but the blasts collided and exploded like a nuclear fireball! Both Koji and Majestros flew backwards out of the explosion, creating a great bit of distance between each other! The moment they had cleared the explosion, they closed the distance between them again, this time flying over the gigantic mushroom cloud to renew their conflict with hand-to-hand combat in the sky! Koji's renewed energy enabled him to match Majestros again!
Back in at the Chamber of Spirit and Time, the boys were ready to try again, remaining in their normal state. Makiko and Tieh watched them intently. Tieh nodded to the two boys, and the boys performed the fusion dance again. There was a blinding light once again, and powerful winds blew out from the brilliant light, forcing Makiko and Tieh to cross their forearms in front of their faces to shield themselves from the powerful winds.
When the fusion was completed this time, there was a muscular young boy with a combination of characteristics from each boy, including a composite mix of their clothing. This form was well-muscled and athletic-looking, and there was a confident look on his face. Tieh and Makiko were amazed and glad to see this result.
"They got it right!" Tieh exclaimed with pride and excitement as he and Makiko smiled. "It's perfect!"
"It's truly amazing!" Makiko replied impressed with the success and greatly encouraged. "It's exactly what we're looking for!"
"Yeah!" the fused warrior exclaimed with a voice which sounded like both boys speaking at the exact same time. "You can call me Katao!"
Other World.
Yukio and Tong-Li continued to watch the intense battle between the renewed Koji and the vile Majestros. They seemed impressed.
"Look at Koji!" Yukio remarked with incredulous awe over Koji's apparent recharge. "Where did he get that power surge from?!?"
"His heart is rebolstered by the love he feels for his family and his friends," Tong-Li replied with interest, smiling as he spoke. "It is incredible how much his passion can be channeled into his Saiyan rage. His power has increased dramatically, but he is still being drained of his energy very quickly by his Super Saiyan Three transformation. He might have bought himself a little more time, but I don't think it will be enough for him to win."
"C'mon!" Yukio complained in utter desperation and frustration. "There's got to be something we can do!"
"There is only one thing we can do for him right now," Tong-Li replied, his smile having faded from his face. "Hope."
Zodoria.
Koji fought brilliantly and fervently to overcome the mighty Majestros, and Majestros fought harder and more fiercely than he had ever fought before! Their epic struggle echoed across the sky and left its mark across the landscape in its fury! Both fighters seemed to be very intense in their fighting, but, at the same time, they seemed to be strangely excited about their clash! After several more moments of their intense battle, the two warriors broke away for a brief pause in the action! They were breathing heavilly, and they were more bruised and battered than before!
"Your power is extraordinary, Saiyan!" Majestros said through baited breath as he eyed the Super Saiyan warily.
"So is yours, Majestros," Koji calmly replied, also through baited breath, as he too eyed his foe warily.
Suddenly, they both turned their attention into the distance, sensing something from a-far. Moments later, the rest of the heroes returned to the battle site. Kien, Sumio, Yoshio, Tieh, Makiko, and the boys had returned from the lookout to the site of this epic battle. They all landed next to Koji as he landed on the ground. Majestros landed on the ground a distance away.
"So, what's this?" Majestros inquired with a smile. "Your friends come to help you? Don't you want to play any more?"
"I think they want a chance to show you what they've learned," Koji replied with a slight smile on his face, powering back down to his normal state. "I think you'll enjoy this."
"We're ready, Dad!" Kato replied as he and Isao stepped forward to meet their destiny. "We'll show this creep a thing or two!"
"Yeah!" Isao added with equal enthusiasm. "He's gonna be sorry he ever set foot on this planet and tangled with the likes of us!"
Koji moved back to stand with the others, and Majestros watched in angered bewilderment as the boys prepared to fuse. Yoshio took a sensu bean from his pouch and gently nudged Koji with his elbow. Koji turned to Yoshio, and the proud brother-in-law of the heroic Saiyan offered him the sensu bean. Koji smiled as he took the bean and promptly ate it, restoring himself to full strength and healing himself from the punishment he'd sustained.
The boys powered up to their maximum equal power levels without becoming Super Saiyans. Majestros watched them with amusement.
"What is this?" Majestros laughed at the challenge of the two young boys. "Such paltry power levels! How do you expect to challenge me with such an insufficient amount of power?"
The boys looked confident, but the other heroes looked confused about something. Koji looked somewhat concerned, and Makiko and Tieh were baffled and concerned also.
"Why aren't they starting out as Super Saiyans?" Koji thought to himself as he waited for their fusion to be performed. "What are they up to? They should become Super Saiyans first before they fuse!"
Majestros laughed maniacally as he almost fell over in his amusement over the two small boys preparing to fight against him.
"Listen to me, boys!" Koji telepathically instructed the two young warriors without uttering a word. "Transform into Super Saiyans first, and then do the fusion dance! You'll need to be at your strongest in order to face him! Do it, now!"
Following his instructions, the boys transformed into Super Saiyans as they prepared for the fusion. Majestros then seemed impressed.
"Well, well, well!" Majestros commented upon seeing the boys transform into Super Saiyans. "Such power, and they're so young!"
Undistracted by Majestros' comments, the boys performed the fusion dance perfectly. The bright light accompanied by the powerful winds heralded the return of Katao, this time in Super Saiyan form! Majestros looked on in dumbfounded disbelief, and Sumio and Yoshio were incredulous as well, having never seen the fusion dance before!
"Well, stinkypants!" Katao taunted in his two-fold voice. "My name is Katao! I hope you're ready to spit teeth 'cause you're gonna be doin' a lot of it in just a few minutes!"
"For your information, my name is Majestros, and I don't think you'll be in any shape to spit teeth after this!" Majestros snarled viciously.
With a cocky grin, Katao flew at Majestros and launched a flurry of hand-to-hand attacks at the evil menace, pounding the villain mercilessly in his midsection! Majestros was doubled over with the wind knocked out of him, and Katao smiled as he drove a roundhouse kick to the head of the villain, knocking him back a great distance! With the distance between them, Katao charged up a kamehameha wave and launched it at Majestros! Majestros crossed his forearms in front of him to shield himself from the attack! The blast crashed into Majestros' crossed forearms and exploded powerfully! When the smoke cleared somewhat so that Majestros' position was no longer obscured, the villain was breathing heavily as the smoke wafted off of his crossed forearms!
Majestros slowly lowered his forearms to his sides, his fists clenched tightly and a vicious scowl on his face! Katao bore a smirk similar to Koji's over his apparent success in his attacks and the expression on Majestros' face! Majestros growled in seething anger as he scowled at the boy!
"You don't look so happy!" Katao taunted with his cocky smirk on his face. "What's the matter, scumbag? Not so tough after all?"
"Why, you! I'll make you pay!" Majestros snarled in his building rage. "You'll die here today!"
Majestros launched himself at Katao, but the boy beat the fiend to the punch with a powerful energy blast into Majestros' torso! Majestros quickly lowered his hands to "catch" the blast at torso level, and the power blast pushed the villain backwards, his feet carving a trail through the ground as he was pushed backwards! Majestros yelled in the exertion to fend off the power blast, and Katao yelled in exertion to strengthen the blast! After several moments of this struggle, Majestros flung the blast skyward with a forceful throw accompanied by an intensification of his yell! Katao was incredulous over this development! The others watched the battle intently, cheering for the fused child warrior!
"You are very strong for one so young, boy!" Majestros commended Katao on the extent of his power. "Too bad you're not strong enough!"
"You're just bluffing, stinkypants!" Katao retorted confidently, wearing his smug smirk. "I'm kicking the pants off o' you! You're just saying that because you know I'm gonna beat you!"
"You think so?" Majestros inquiringly commented, a sinister smile forming on his face. "Let me show you something that I think you'll find most interesting. Perhaps it will show you just how futile your efforts are."
Katao still smiled his confident smile as Majestros crossed his forearms in front of his face and closed his eyes. He began to glow with an eerie aura, and, moments later, his battle wounds began to slowly heal. Suddenly, the heroes, Katao included, gasped in horror as they witnessed the regenerative power that Majestros commanded. Within moments, all the damage which had been inflicted upon the mighty villain, was completely healed!
"No!" Koji thought to himself as he watched the villain's power revealed. "How can we beat him if he can regenerate whenever he wants to? What can we do to stop him?"
Suddenly, Majestros disappeared from where he was standing and reappeared right in front of Katao, where he kicked the boy right in the face, knocking him across the battlefield like a punted football! This maneuver terrified the other heroes as they gasped at the sight of the attack! Majestros laughed evilly as the fused warrior got back to his feet, clutching his face and crying out repeatedly in pain!
"Hey!" Katao replied as he rubbed his bruised face with his hands and grimaced in pain. "That hurt!"
"That's the nature of this game, you little whelp!" Majestros taunted the angry little boy. "Now you don't look so happy, do you? What's the matter? You know you can't win, don't you? You're becoming frightened, aren't you? Perhaps you should surrender and beg for mercy!"
"What?!? You gotta be kidding!" Katao retorted rebukingly at the villain in his anger. "I'm not afraid of you! Let's go!"
Katao angrily assumed a fighting stance, and Majestros, smiling and chuckling under his breath, assumed a fighting stance! Katao gave a shout, and his golden, flaming energy aura flared as he raised his energy before attacking! Majestros simply smiled arrogantly and sinisterly, further infuriating the fused child warrior! Katao then launched himself at Majestros and began throwing a flurry of hand-to-hand attacks at the villain, but Majestros evaded each and every attack with apparent ease! The other heroes looked on with concern, but Koji was very uneasy about something!
After several moments of evading the boy's attacks, Majestros began peppering the boy with rapid-fire punches to the face, bruising the boy's face and hurting him badly! The other heroes were horrified at this sight, and Koji was even more concerned than ever!
"No!" Koji cried out in grave concern, getting the attention of the other heroes. "The fusion's not powerful enough to defeat him! The boys' lack of experience and overall power is a disadvantage! I've got to help them!"
Koji transformed with a short yell, going immediately to his Super Saiyan Two state! The powerful winds blowing out of him forced the other heroes to move away from him, and he was firmly ensheathed in an electrified, golden, flaming energy aura! Majestros stopped fighting and turned his attention in total arrogant smugness towards Koji! Katao regained his composure and suddenly felt his attention drawn to Koji as well!
Koji then began a new drawn-out power-up yell as his electrified energy aura flared massively, and the entire planet began to shake violently! Rocks, stones, and pebbles of all shapes and sizes began to rise from the ground, shattering in mid-air, and the powerful winds blowing out from Koji in all directions intensified in strength! The sky went almost pitch black, and radical lightning flashed in the darkened heavens above them! Bodies of water parted to the bare floor and stood in towering walls as the ground opened up in various places, and boiling lava spewed from between the the towering walls of water and from where the ground had opened up! Whirlwinds formed all around the battlefield, and huge rocks erupted out of the ground!
Everyone who had previously sensed the transformation before were still astonished, but Makiko, Tieh, and Katao were even more so because they had never sensed or witnessed the transformation before! Majestros watched with interest once again as Koji's hair began to lengthen and his muscles began to increase in size slightly! A sudden surge of power scattered all of the other fighters except for Majestros a short distance across the battlefield as a near-blinding light exploded out from him and his eyebrows disappeared once again! When everything had once more subsided again, Koji stood there, ensheathed in his electrified, golden, flaming aura and with his waist-length golden hair and neanderthalic appearance without his eyebrows!
"Wow!" Katao gasped upon seeing Koji's Super Saiyan Three form for the very first time after sitting up on the ground. "I've gotta learn to do that! His power is superhuge!"
"Makiko! Tieh! Get the kids back to the Chamber of Spirit and Time for more training!" Koji called out to the two trainers. "I'll hold him here while you do that! Work on increasing their power and fighting skills!"
After acknowledging the plan, Makiko, Tieh, and Katao began to fly back towards the lookout, but Katao paused to ask Koji a question.
"Hey!" Katao called out to Koji, getting his attention while Majestros waited patiently for the conflict to begin a-new. "How did you do that?"
"This transformation only comes after a great deal of intense training," Koji explained calmly. "There is no need for rage to bring this transformation to pass. Only a lengthy and intense period of training will enable a Saiyan to achieve this power level. Train hard, children. Now go."
Nodding their understanding, the fused warrior resumed his journey to the lookout, rejoining the trainers Makiko and Tieh. The others watched on with extreme interest as Koji turned his attention back to Majestros.
"Are you ready for round two, Majestros?" Koji inquired, a focused calmness to him despite the bleakness of the moment.
"Ready whenever you are!" Majestros replied with a confident smirk on his face as both he and Koji engaged in a brief staredown.
The two fighters blurred in and out of sight as they engaged once again in a furious battle across the battlefield! The other heroes looked amazed as they struggled to keep up with the two combatants' movements! Of the lot of them, Kien was able to follow much but not all of their movements while the others were barely able to follow any of it at all!
"I can barely see them at all!" Yoshio finally managed to get out as he gawked in utter disbelief.
"They're far faster than any of us! That's for sure!" Sumio added, also enraptured in the awe of trying to follow their movements.
"It's true, but Koji can't keep this up for long," Kien muttered as he tried desperately to keep up with them. "His power diminished quickly during his last battle with Majestros. It's apparent that this Super Saiyan Three transformation places too much of a strain on his body."
The others looked at Kien with a look of horror and dread over Kien's declaration about the limits of Koji's Super Saiyan Three transformation! Meanwhile, Koji and Majestros continued to fight fiercely, showcasing their greatest techniques! Between energy waves and physical techniques, both warriors were pulling out all the stops, and all the others could do was watch in grave concern and apprehension!
