"The Horror Begins"
As all eyes watched Usami and all ears waited for him to respond to the inquiries of Android Prime, Usami's frightening grin widened.
"Oh, I'm sorry," Usami responded with a near-chuckle. "Where were my manners? Won't you forgive me? In my excitement, I simply forgot to introduce myself. My name is Usami. I am an incubus android created by Dr. Dreg, like yourselves, Android Prime!"
"Huh?" Android Prime gasped in shock, along with everyone else except Usami. "How did you know my name?"
"Oh, I know all about you and your two friends," Usami explained. Android Alpha, the first among the three of you to be constructed, he is poetry in motion, so adept at the use of his speed and agility. Then there is Android Titan, the second-built of your little trio, as powerful as he is big. Finally, there is you, Android Prime. You were the last of your team to be constructed, and you are both powerful and fast, stronger than Android Alpha and faster than Android Titan! I have come so that the four of us may become one, the ultimate android with no equal in speed, power, or technique!"
"What are you ranting and raving about?" Android Prime retorted, a bit aggitated at the interruption. "I am the ultimate android, and I need no improvements, so go away! I was in the middle of something!"
"Oh, yes," Usami noted, still smiling slyly at the cocky android. "How rude of me. I'm sorry, but our little lunch date takes precedence over even this! Allow me to emphasize my point more effectively!"
With those words said, Usami widened his stance and flexed every muscle in his body! The evil monster began his drawn-out yell as he began raising his energy! An eerie glow surrounded the fiend immediately, and the ground began to shake as small pebbles, stones, and rocks began to rise from the ground! Powerful winds began to blow out from Usami's form as the water's waves began to crash violently against the island they were on! The ground began shaking even more violently as the sky went dark, and powerful winds buffeted the landscape! Kien and the Zodorians were mortified when they sensed the fiend's full power being brought to bear, and the androids were confused but wary nonetheless!
Back at the lookout, Shun and Jontu were horrified by what they felt, and they trembled in absolute fear.
"Oh, no, Kami Shun!" Jontu muttered in sheer terror at the power he sensed from Usami from so far away. "It's horrible! He's even stronger than Kien after Kien has fused with Kuang! What will we do now?"
"Go quickly and find the Kai Yuen who fought the beast earlier, and give him this!" Shun answered as he gave Jontu a senzu bean. "The Earthling Yoshio left it with me when we were explaining the map to him. He said he wanted to leave one with me just in case it was needed, and I think it is needed now! You must hurry, Jontu! The only other thing we can do is wait for Koji and Kato to finish their training in the Chamber of Spirit and Time! Find the Kai and administer the senzu bean, and godspeed, Jontu!"
"Right, Kami Shun!" Jontu replied as he put the senzu bean in a little pouch on his belt, and his flying carpet arrived, and he got on it and flew away. "I'm on my way!"
Back at the battlefield, Usami slowly completed his power-up, and the special effects thereof gradually subsided. The heroes were in terrified awe of the power they sensed from Usami. The androids didn't seem too terribly worried about it, however.
"There now," Usami proclaimed. "Maybe that will convince you to see things my way. I'd hate to have to humiliate you by thrashing you to a pulp, Android Prime. Don't make me have to do that."
"Do your worst, monster!" Android Prime rebuked the beast as he assumed a fighting stance in preparation for battle. �I'm not submitting to you, or to anybody else for that matter!"
"Very well," Usami said, almost savoring the anticipation of the clash. "It is so sad that it has come to this. Really it is."
At that moment, Kien flew into Usami with a flying side kick to the jaw, knocking Usami back quite a ways! Usami performed a back handspring and landed on his feet, turning his attention to the Namek! Kien grimaced in sheer determination to stand in the path of so powerful an adversary!
Meanwhile, back at Dr. Dreg's place, Yoshio's kamehameha slammed into Borgo and exploded brilliantly! Dr. Dreg, preparing to attack Yuko's position with an energy blast, looked up to see the explosion! He grimaced in concern for his comrade! Yuko took advantage of that opportune distraction by flying up out of the dust cloud over the crater where she was and driving a vicious football punt of a kick to Dr. Dreg's crotch, stunning him and causing him to power-down his energy attack! Yuko then palmstruck Dr. Dreg's nose, causing a greenish-colored liquid to begin to trinkle out like blood as the devilish doctor reeled from the attack! Yuko then boxed Dr. Dreg's ears with a double earslap, stunning the evil scientist! She then hit him with an energy attack in the torso, knocking him across the landscape and into the ground, where he was quickly ensheathed within a cloud of dust and smoke!
When the explosion from Yoshio's kamehameha attack subsided, Borgo was heavilly damaged but not finished! The portly android grimaced as he dove towards Yoshio in a rage, and he hammered Yoshio with a brutal two-fisted smash across the face, slamming Yoshio to the ground with a dust-scattering thud! Borgo then followed that up by launching a rapid-fire energy assault at the place where Yoshio crashed!
"Yoshio!" Yuko cried in horror as she turned and saw Borgo's flurry of energy blasts pummeling her brother's position. "No!"
Before she could make a move, Dr. Dreg erupted from the dust cloud enshrouding his position and slammed into Yuko with a spearing shoulder tackle to the midsection, driving her to the ground hard! Having landed on top of her in a fighting mounted position, Dr. Dreg then drew back his fist to punch her in the face, but Yuko swung her leg up and kicked him in the back, knocking him off of her! They both got back to their feet in a flash, and Dr. Dreg launched a flurry of punches at Yuko, and she responded defensively by blocking and dodging each and every attack!
Meanwhile, Kien prepared to clash with Usami! Usami grinned at the Super Namek, and Kien steeled his resolve quickly! The others watched with interest as the two super powers prepared to collide!
"So, you'd like to throw your life away in a futile effort to stand in my way, huh?" Usami rebuked the Super Namek. "Such a pity, but it doesn't matter to me really. I have no interest in fighting you. I only want to absorb the androids. Oh, well. Prepare to die!"
Usami began walking in nonchalant confidence towards Kien, and Kien tensed up in preparation to attack Usami! Kien launched himself towards Usami to punch him, but the monster sidestepped the punch and drove a knee into Kien's midsection! Kien was doubled over by the attack, and he coughed up purple blood from the brutal impact! Usami then grabbed Kien by the shirt front and tossed him across the battlefield with casual ease!
When Kien finished skidding, bouncing, and tumbling along the ground, he stood back to his feet, looking badly injured from that horrible attack! He looked to see Usami moving towards him once again, that same nonchalant, confident pace as before! Kien grimaced in pain as he prepared to fight!
"Alright!" Kien muttered as he watched Usami's approach. "I can't fight head-on like this! I'll try something new! Let's see how you like this!"
Kien held his hands close together in front of his midsection, his fingertips touching as his palms faced each other! Kien began glowing, and strong winds began blowing out from his form as he charged up the attack! Small pebbles, stones, and rocks began rising from the ground as the ground began to shake! Electricity crackled all around Kien and his glowing energy aura as he prepared to fire his attack at Usami, and Usami continued to march towards Kien, completely unconcerned! The sky went dark again, and Kien focused his determination for the fight at hand!
In the Chamber of Spirit and Time, Koji and Kato continued to train inside the modified space pod. The gravity setting was at one hundred times normal gravity. Koji was wearing heavy weights around his wrists and ankles as well as around his arms. Both of them were doing one-arm handstand finger push-ups, and the sweat dripped off of them profusely. They were in their normal state, not their Super Saiyan state.
"Amazing!" Koji thought to himself as he noted his young son's performance. "He's already mastering one hundred times normal gravity, and he's just a child! His combination of Saiyan and human blood may be stronger than either race alone! Interesting!"
Back at Dr. Dreg's place, Borgo finished blasting the place where Yoshio crashed, and the smoke finally cleared to reveal that Yoshio was no longer there! Borgo smiled, but he didn't notice Yoshio appear right behind him and slightly above him! Yoshio seemed aggitated!
"Hey!" Yoshio called out to Borgo as he prepared to attack the android. "Up here, you lunkheaded hunk of junk!"
As Borgo turned around to respond, Yoshio tore into him with a flurry of punches and kicks, catching the android offguard! His fists and feet bludgeoned the android with powerful impacts in rapid-fire succession, and Borgo was slow in mounting a defense to protect himself! Finally, after taking an incredible beating at Yoshio's hands and feet, Borgo managed to get back into the fight, making the battle more even!
Yuko and Dr. Dreg continued their stalemated fighting, and Yuko had regained a bit of momentum upon seeing that her brother was okay! She picked the intensity and stopped Dr. Dreg's push by regaining her composure and matching his intensity with her own! Dr. Dreg was baffled by this sudden turn of events, and Yuko took advantage of that slight lapse in focus! She began pressing her attack, forcing him to back up from the fury of her attack!
Back at the battle between Kien and Usami, Kien continued to power up his energy attack between his hands as Usami continued to march on his position! The ground began shaking even more violently as Kien's energy rose higher and higher, channeled into the attack! The Zodorians seemed incredulous to behold such incredible power, and the androids seemed impressed by the display as well! Usami was the only one who wasn't impressed or concerned, and he just smiled as he marched on!
Finally, Kien fired his newest attack technique, a makosen-ha blast! The blast slammed into Usami's torso and exploded like a nuclear missle! The blast consumed a large portion of the island in its wake as well, and it scattered everyone around the blast radius like debris in a maelstrom!
When the blast subsided, Usami hovered there above the waters, unharmed by the attack! Kien was mortified, and the Zodorians shared his sentiments! The androids were astounded as well!
"Very good, Namek!" Usami praised the Super Namek's efforts in sarcastic disrespect. "Too bad it won't be enough! Allow me to show you how it's done, my friend!"
Usami flew towards Kien and slammed a side kick into the Namek's jaw, knocking him into a mountain and causing the mountain to crumble on top of him! Usami then launched a powerful energy blast at the pile of rubble where Kien was buried, causing a nuclear warhead-like explosion, taking out that portion of the island and launching debris miles into the sky! The force of the explosion blew against the others as debris fell like rain from the sky! In the midst of the falling debris was the limp form of Kien, and Usami proceeded to blast his form out of the sky with a special beam cannon attack! Kien's smoking, motionless body plummeted from the sky and into the water around the island! Usami then turned his attention back to Android Prime!
"Now it's your turn!" Usami snarled as he flew at the incredulous android, and Android Prime then readied himself for the renewed conflict.
In a flash, Usami was right in front of Android Prime, and Android Prime was shocked at Usami's speed! Usami began thrusting his spear-like tail tip at Android Prime, but the android managed to evade each and every thrust of the syringe-like tail tip with extreme effort! Everyone else was horrified!
"He's horrible!" Android Alpha muttered in disgust as he all but turned away from the sight before him. "Did you see how easily he destroyed that Namek? That Namek was just as strong as Android Prime! What chance do we have against it?"
"I have to save Android Prime!" Android Titan informed his ally. "You get out of here right now so he can't get you!"
"But you can't!" Android Alpha cried out in shock at Android Titan's suggestion, pleading with him not to do it.
"No! I must!" Android Titan declared with steeled resolve as he glared at the battle scene being played out before him. "Now get out of here!"
The giant warrior began walking towards the battlefield towards where Usami was now pummeling Android Prime at will! Usami didn't seem to notice Android Titan's approach as he continued to brutally batter the helpless Android Prime with little effort! As Usami drew his tail up, and the tip expanded into a giant funnel, he felt a hand tap him on the shoulder! Turning his attention to this, he felt Android Titan's fist collide with his jaw, hurling him across the battlefield with force and impact! Usami twisted in mid-air to land on his feet a great distance away, glaring incredulously at Android Titan, and Android Prime couldn't believe his eyes either! Everyone was astounded!
"What's this?" Usami muttered in disbelief as he rubbed his jaw where he was hit. "How is it possible for him to have that much power?!?"
"It's over now, Usami!" Android Titan yelled across the battlefield at Usami. "I'm going to destroy you now!"
Android Titan ran towards Usami and began pummeling the synthetic, serpentine villain relentlessly with a flurry of punches! Breaking away from the flurry, Usami tried to put some distance between himself and Android Titan, but the hulking android pursued him with speed equal to the task! The others watched on in amazement!
"It's unbelievable!" Sumie remarked as she watched the fight in disbelief. "Android Titan is just as strong as Usami!"
"No, wait!" Android Alpha chimed in as he watched Android Titan pursuing Usami. "I think he might actually be stronger!"
Usami fired a few energy blasts at Android Titan to try to get him to back off of his pursuit, but the gigantic android either evaded or swatted aside each blast as it neared him! Usami grimaced in rage as he suddenly stopped and then flew at Usami with a flying side kick to the midsection, doubling the android over, but it wasn't enough to deter the mighty android! Android Titan engaged Usami in a flurry of hand-to-hand techniques, and the incubus android responded by meeting his fighting skill with sufficient technique and ability to force a temporary stalemate!
