"Koji's Newest Life Lesson"
Koji, Kien, Kuang, Sumio, and Sumie prepared to seek out the androids. Shun, Yuko, Yoshio, Kato, and Jontu watched as the five warriors prepared to depart from the lookout.
"Is there anything else we should know about these androids before we go off to battle them?" Koji inquired of Shun as he paused before leaving.
"Yes," Shun answered, now standing there with a tall staff in his hand. "The androids' power cannot be sensed like ours can, but they possess incredible power nonetheless. Be careful, my friend."
Without another word, Koji led the team of fighters from the lookout platform, and they flew off in search of the androids. As they left, those who were left behind grimaced in concern for their friends and family.
"There's got to be something the rest of us can do while they're off fighting the androids!" Yoshio muttered in frustration.
Koji and the heroes saw smoke rising in the distance, and they seemed to sense something going on where the smoke was coming from.
"Can you sense that?" Kuang growled in anger as the others grimaced in seething rage as well. "Multiple life forces all being snuffed out in growing numbers! It's the androids' handiwork! I know it is!"
"Well, then we should get there fast and put an end to this now!" Koji snarled as he led the team onward.
Moments later, Koji and the others came upon Android Prime, Android Alpha, and Android Titan terrorizing a large village of Zodorians. Koji flew right up into the path of the android trio, prompting them to stop their antics and face him. The other heroes fell in right behind Koji's position. The androids made eye contact with the assembled heroes before landing in the middle of the destroyed village, and the heroes then landed on the ground to face off against the androids.
"So, it's you three again, and you've brought along some friends," Android Prime taunted the heroes as he noted the two new arrivals. "How quaint! Did you remember to tell your new playmates how rough we play?"
"Oh, they've told us all about you, friend," Koji answered the android's taunting with his usual confidence. "I think its time for you to meet your match. What say you and I fight? After I beat you, I'll finish off your two friends as well. What do you say, huh?"
"That's an interesting proposition, but, honestly, what chance do you possibly have against me?" Android Prime gloated.
"Try me and find out," Koji answered the gloating android with his classic supreme confidence, a smile forming on his face.
"Very well," the android replied with a cocky smile and nonchalant demeanor as he motioned for his two allies to give him room. "You're a fool, but at least you're not a coward!"
"Before you get too happy, I think I should let you in on a little secret," Koji taunted with a smile on his face, prompting his allies to back away and give him room.
"Really?" Android Prime answered in pricked curiosity as he looked at Koji with a broadening smile. "Don't keep me waiting. What's the secret?"
With a strained grunt and the flexing of his muscles so that every vein in his entire body bulged, Koji powered up to Super Saiyan, generating strong winds out from his position as he transformed! His eyes turned green, his hair turned blond, and he became surrounded by a golden flaming aura! Kuang, Sumio, and Sumie stared at Koji in disbelief!
"Unbelievable!" Kuang muttered in bewilderment as he gawked at Koji's Super Saiyan transformation. "He wasn't kidding when he said he was a lot stronger than we knew! How could he generate that much power?"
"It's incredible!" Sumio added as he too gawked at Koji in stunned disbelief. "I've never felt anything like this before!"
"His power is like nothing I've ever sensed before!" Sumie chimed in while entranced by the sight before her.
"I've experienced his Super Saiyan energies on planet Veloria, but it's still difficult to believe the unfathomable power he's capable of!" Kien thought to himself as he regarded his friend. "Even though I fused with another Namek warrior not too long ago, his power is still far greater than my own! It's hard to believe, but he seems even stronger than ever!"
The androids noted Koji's transformation with lackluster amusement, not impressed by his Super Saiyan state.
"My, you've changed your hair and taken on a funny glow!" Android Prime muttered in nonchalant cockiness. "What's the big deal about that?"
"I think it's time for you to find out what the big deal is, android," Koji stated as he stood in a dramatic stance to add emphasis to his bravado. "So, are we going to talk all day, or are you going to fight me?"
"You're big on yourself, aren't you?" Android Prime mocked Koji as he smiled confidently. "I guess I'll just have to teach you a lesson!"
The two combatants flew at each other with blinding speed and engaged each other in a flurry of hand-to-hand techniques, their attacks and movements almost too fast for the other heroes to follow! The heroes were amazed at Koji's performance against Android Prime! The other androids seemed a bit impressed by Koji's skill and power!
"Hey, he's pretty good!" Android Alpha declared as he turned to Android Titan. "Do you think he really has a chance against Android Prime?"
"He seems to be very powerful, but his efforts against us are futile," Android Titan replied confidently.
The battle raged across the devastated village, and punches and kicks echoed like rapid-fire cannon shots! Their power was evident to all onlookers, and their fighting was fierce and intense! Koji managed to deliver a solid punch to the midsection of Android Prime, doubling him over! Koji then drove a powerful kneelift into Android Prime's face, lifting him up straight, and he followed that up by hammering the android in the head with a spin kick, knocking the android across the village! Android Prime stopped his unplanned flight in time to see Koji fire a powerful energy blast at him! Android Prime swatted the energy blast aside while grimacing in aggitation! Koji smiled confidently as he stood prepared for the conflict to renew!
"What's the matter, android?" Koji inquired tauntingly as he smiled at his handiwork. "You don't seem so confident now!"
"I have to admit, you surprised me," Android Prime confessed as he stood poised to renew the conflict. "You're a lot stronger than we originally assumed, but you're still no match for my power!"
"What?!?" Koji snarled as he grimaced in rage over Android Prime's comments. "Alright! Let's go!"
In a flash, they renewed their conflict over the devastated village! Koji fought hard against the android, and the android matched his ferocity and intensity! Koji slammed a two-fisted smash into the android's head, but the android responded by grabbing both of Koji's wrists and slamming his knee into Koji's midsection, doubling him over! The android followed that up by hammering Koji with a series of punches to the face, bruising the Super Saiyan! Android Prime then grabbed Koji by the wrist and hurled him into the air! As Koji regained control of his unplanned flight, he saw the android's energy blast streaking towards him! Koji barely managed to evade the blast, and he hovered there in mid-air grimacing at Android Prime as blood trinkled from the corner of his mouth! Koji wiped away the blood with the back of his fist, and Android Prime smiled in pride over his handiwork!
"Now you don't look so confident anymore, friend!" Android Prime gloated in arrogance. "Perhaps you'd like to know who you're fighting. I am Android Prime. My giant, hulking friend is Android Titan, and my smaller comrade is Android Alpha. Now, how about you and the other newcomer?"
"I am Koji, a Saiyan," Koji answered as he glared at Android Prime. "Right now, I am in my Super Saiyan state! The other Namek is Kien, a Namek warrior I met eight years ago! Now, are we done with the trivial formalities, or are you just trying to buy time to find an opportunity to run away?"
"I really admire your supreme confidence, Saiyan," Android Prime commented a bit surprised. "Let's see if I can break it!"
They began their fight again, and Koji went on the offensive, hammering Android Prime with a series of punches to the torso! Koji then tried to kick the android in the head, but the android ducked under the kick and allowed Koji to pass right over his head! As Koji turned back to the android, Android Prime nailed Koji with a roundhouse kick to the face, knocking him across the village and through several abandoned homes!
Koji pulled himself up to his feet, looking a bit stunned from the attack, just in time to be hit by a flying side kick to the torso, knocking him backwards through portions of the surrounding landscape! As Koji pulled himself back up to his feet again, the android clobbered him with a powerful kick to the midsection, doubling him over and causing the Saiyan to cough up blood from the impact of the attack! This terrified the other heroes!
"Sumio! Sumie! You two, attack Android Alpha!" Kuang cried out to his teammates in desperation. "Kien and I will attack Android Titan! If we can quickly put these two androids out of commission, then we'll be able to take Android Prime down as well!"
Sumio and Sumie charged at Android Alpha to attack him simultaneously, and the two Nameks charged into battle against Android Titan! The heroes fought valiantly against the powerful androids, and the androids responded by mounting defensive techniques to avert the heroes' attacks! Android Prime continued to pound Koji relentlessly, and the other androids quickly turned the tables on their attackers and began likewise pummeling the heroes at will!
A couple of hits to each of the Zodorians rendered them unconscious, and Android Titan began pounding Kuang and Kien! Android Alpha moved to help Android Titan with the Nameks after dispensing with the Zodorians! As Android Alpha began engaging Kuang in hand-to-hand combat, Kien struggled against the monstrous power of Android Titan! While Android Alpha pounded Kuang quickly into unconsciousness with his greater power, Android Titan brutally rendered Kien unconscious with his monstrous power!
Meanwhile, Koji regained control of his unplanned flight from Android Prime's previous attack, and then he leaped out of the path of Android Prime's latest attack attempt! Android Prime watched Koji put a bit of distance between them, and he watched and waited for Koji's next move! Koji assumed the kamehameha stance to the pricking of Android Prime's curiosity!
"Alright, android!" Koji snarled as he grimaced in a mixture of pain and frustration, his golden flaming aura flaring in response to the mighty Super Saiyan powering up his attack. "Let's see what you've got!"
Pebbles, small stones, and rocks began to rise as the ground began to shake all around! The sphere of energy formed in between Koji's hands, and winds began to howl out from Koji in all directions! In the distance, those left behind at Shun's lookout felt Koji's building energy, and they were stunned!
"Koji's energy is growing!" Shun gasped in utter amazement as only Yuko seemed to sense the power of Koji. "I can't believe his strength! Everyone else's energy signals have vanished! I hope their not dead! How can that Saiyan possess this much power?"
"I don't know what you're talking about!" Yuko muttered in utter confusion. "I can't sense anything!"
"You mean Koji didn't teach you how to sense power levels?" Yoshio said in complete shock at his sister's lack of ability in this department.
"Well, I'd say you didn't teach me how to sense power levels either, you twit!" Yuko screamed at Yoshio in a burst of rage, prompting Yoshio to cover up in an effort to avoid getting hit by his sister.
"I can sense Dad's power, Mom!" Kato said as he broke up the little sibling skirmish. "He's generating a whole lot of energy! Clear your mind and relax, Mom. Concentrate on feeling Dad's energy. You can do it!"
With her son's gentle encouragement nudging her on, Yuko closed her eyes and began reaching out as she concentrated. She concentrated for several moments, and everyone remained silent as she tried her hand at sensing Koji's power. Suddenly, she opened her eyes as she sensed something.
"Wow!" Yuko muttered in absolute amazement. "It's ... him! ... I know it is! I did it! I sensed Koji's power!"
Meanwhile, back on the battlefield, Koji fired his kamehameha blast at Android Prime! The android was startled to see such an attack closing in on him! Android Alpha and Android Titan seemed quite impressed by Koji's attack technique! Android Prime crossed his forearms in front of his face to deflect the attack, and the blast exploded upon colliding with his forearms!
Moments passed before the explosion dissipated to reveal that Android Prime had survived the attack! Koji was astonished to see Android Prime still standing there! Android Prime smiled sinisterly!
"No!" Koji muttered in disbelief as he saw that his attack had no affect on the android. "This isn't possible! How did he survive that?"
"Now do you see how pointless your futile efforts are, Saiyan?" Android Prime taunted the mighty Super Saiyan. "Let's finish this now!"
In a flash, Android Prime once more began to mercilessly pound Koji with one high-impact hand-to-hand attack after another! Koji's face became covered with bruises and cuts, and he had coughed up quite a bit of blood from the high-impact shots to his midsection! Koji felt absolutely helpless against the android's unmatchable strength and speed, and the android continued his assault against the overmatched Super Saiyan! Android Prime ended that flurry with a brutal kick to the Super Saiyan's left shoulder, completely dislocating the limb from the force of the kick and eliciting a horrific scream of excrutiating agony from the injured Super Saiyan!
"I told you it was a mistake to fight against us, Saiyan," Android Prime scolded the injured Super Saiyan. "Your pain is the result of your foolish conceit, Super Saiyan!"
While on his knees on the ground craddling his dislocated shoulder, Koji grimaced in a mixture of rage and pain! He lifted himself up to one knee and extended his good hand towards the android as his left arm hung limp from the socket, fighting through the pain of his injury to fire another powerful energy blast towards the android! Android Prime evaded Koji's blast a bit more easily than before, and then he knocked Koji onto his backside with a vicious kick to the face, causing the Super Saiyan to slide along the ground for quite some distance! When his slide came to an end, Koji raised his head up while still prone on his back, but then Android Prime dropped onto him from above and drove a diving stomp into Koji's chest, prompting Koji to cough up more blood and gasp in breathless agony! Android Prime then began grinding his foot into Koji's torso with increasing pressure, and Koji screamed in excrutiating agony!
"You should give up now while you have the chance!" Android Prime taunted his screaming foe. "Your pain will stop when you concede!"
Koji reached up with his good arm, the defiance and grim determination obvious on his face, and grabbed Android Prime by the ankle! Android Prime then drove a thunderous punch into Koji's face, causing him to relinquish his hold on the android's ankle! Android Prime then punted Koji into the air! With mindboggling speed, the android raced past the hurtling Saiyan, got into an intercept position in front of Koji, and ended Koji's unplanned flight with a brutal elbow smash to the back, knocking the wind out of Koji! Android Prime then hammered Koji with a two-fisted smash to the back of the head, driving the injured warrior to the ground with a tremendous thud! As Koji struggled to rise from the ground once again, Android Prime speared into him from above once again, this time with a diving knee to the middle of the back! As Koji gasped in excrutiating, breathless agony, his golden flaming aura faded, and his hair and eyes turned black again! A moment later, Koji passed out from the pain and lay motionless at the android's feet!
"Oh, well," Android Prime commented as the other two androids joined him on the ground. "That was fun while it lasted. Let's go."
Android Prime began flying away, and Android Alpha and Android Titan followed him, leaving the battered and beaten heroes lying in the ruins of the devastated village. Meanwhile, back at the lookout, the other heroes reacted in horror that Koji's energy signal had dropped like that.
"Koji!" Yuko screamed before slumping into Yoshio's arms in a semi-conscious state, almost fainting in horror.
Yoshio lowered his semi-conscious sister to the ground as the others moved quickly to check on her. Yoshio looked down at his senzu bean pouch on his hip and then off into the distance.
"You guys, take care of Yuko," Yoshio said with grim determination on his face. "I'm going to check on the others. They might need some senzu beans. I'll try to get them back here as quickly as possible."
"I'll go with you," Jontu volunteered as he telepathically summoned his flying carpet and got on it. "I might be able to help get them back here."
"Alright," Yoshio accepted Jontu's offer of assistance as he stood up, leaving the care of his sister in the hands of Shun and Kato. "Let's go!"
Yoshio took flight into the air, and Jontu followed on his flying carpet.
