"From Bad To Worse"
As Usami is transforming, the water's waves crashed violently against the island where they all were! Soon, howling whirlwinds formed in the churning waters around the island, and the ground began to shake very violently as the sky went black! Lightning flashed radically in the sky, and mountains crumbled both on the land and into the water! Huge rocks exploded for miles around the transformation site, and the waters produced tidal waves and whirlwinds all over the planet as the entire planet was shaking violently! For miles around the transforming incubus android, the ground began cracking open, and lava began spewing forth from out of the open cracks!
Back at Shun's lookout, Shun and Jontu seemed horrified more than ever to sense this transformation! They were extremely concerned and dreadfully worried at Usami's energy at that time!
"Kami Shun!" Jontu screamed in total terror at the events which were transpiring all over the planet. "The whole planet is shaking! What's going on? Is this the end?"
"I don't know, Jontu!" Shun informed his assistant, also more frightened then ever. "All I know is that Usami's power has taken a significant increase! Our only hope is for Koji and his son to complete their training now!"
They both turned their eyes towards the door to the Chamber of Spirit and Time, praying and hoping for a miracle through the two Super Saiyans. Shun closed his eyes tightly as he trembled in fear.
Back at the battle sight, Usami's form began changing once again! His face assumed a more human appearance, even adding a nose, and his physique became more slender than the last form but still more muscular than the first form! Bug-like black wings formed on his back, but his tail remained long with a syringe-like tip! None of the organic heroes were standing, but all of them witnessed the transformation in horror! Android Titan also noted the terrible transformation from a prone position!
Finally, the horrible transformation came to an end, and the environmental effects subsided! Usami stood there, admiring his new form once again as he did after the first transformation! The others were helpless to stand up to him, and they could feel his increased power!
"Ah! Truly exceptional!" Usami declared as he marveled at his new power and form. "I'm much stronger now! There is no one who can stop me form absorbing the last android and reaching my final perfect form!"
His sinister laugh was cut short as he sensed something approaching from a-far. He looked skyward, and then all of the organic heroes likewise looked skyward as they then sensed it as well. From the distance, a lone figure approached their position, flying.
"Hmmm," Usami pondered this new arrival aloud. "Perhaps this one can actually give me a challenge. I wonder who it is."
"Is that ... Koji?" Kien muttered in utter disbelief as he strained to identify the approaching warrior.
"No!" Yuko answered almost immediately as she likewise struggled to make out the identity of the newcomer. "I don't know who it is, but it's definitely not Koji!"
"Well, whoever it is, this newcomer has a lot of power!" Yoshio muttered in disbelief as every eye was now fixated upon the approaching warrior who was drawing closer by the second.
Arriving on the scene was Yukio, from the tournament on Veloria! He still wore Arcosian attire, but he no longer bothered with the head covering of the outfit! His tail was wrapped around his waist as he landed before the monstrous incubus android! He seemed intensely focused!
"Greetings," Yukio said as he addressed the monster. "My name is Yukio. I assume you're the one generating all of that power."
"Yes," Usami answered with a smile. "I am Usami, a biomechanical entity on the verge of becoming a god. You may worship me now if you like, or you can grovel at my feet when I destroy you!"
"Don't make me laugh!" Yukio retorted as he clenched his fists and lifted his lower arms at the elbow while keeping his upper arms pointing straight down at the ground. "Your power is substantial, but you don't know what true power really is! Allow me to show you something!"
With tensed muscles and bulging veins, Yukio grunted as if in exertion! His hair began to stiffen and stand upright as the wind began to howl! Small pebbles, stones, and rocks began to rise from the ground as the ground began to tremble! Within moments, a golden flaming aura ensheathed Yukio and gale-force winds erupted out from him in all directions as his hair turned blond and his eyes turned green! The environmental effects of the transformation subsided, leaving only the golden flaming aura and his new hair and eye colors from the change! The beaten fighters and Android Titan were scattered across the landscape in the wake of Yukio's transformation, and Usami watched on, unphased and unimpressed!
"My, what a cute trick," Usami tauntingly said as he smiled. "The Saiyan Koji did the same thing on the planet Veloria eight years ago. I believe you call it a Super Saiyan transformation, am I right?"
"How did you know that?" Yukio inquired in shock that the monster would recognize a form it took him so long to acquire. "And how did you know about Koji, and the planet Veloria?"
"Well, my friend," Usami began, "while you and those other fighters were competing at the tournament on planet Veloria, my master was collecting cell samples from many of you. He acquired cell samples from the Changeling Xarlok, the Super Saiyan Koji, the Namek warrior Kien, and also from you. Upon arriving here, he also acquired the cell samples of the Namek warrior Kuang and the Zodorian fighters. He then worked diligently to fuse those cell samples into one genetically engineered creation, me!
"As for your Super Saiyan transformation, my cells obtained the knowledge of that from the cells acquired from Koji. It is through his cell samples that I learned the most about your Saiyan race. Oh, I also have a little surprise for you!"
Usami widened his stance, flexed his muscles until his veins bulged, and gave a sudden grunting yell! Immediately, a golden flaming aura surrounded him, exactly the same as a Super Saiyan aura! Yukio was impressed by the sight of this!
"Are you impressed?" the genetically engineered monstrosity inquired with a confident smirk on his face.
"I must say that I am quite impressed, but you have yet to see my full power!" Yukio said as he widened his stance, flexed his muscles until his veins bulged, and grimaced in preparation for a power-up. "Observe!"
With a drawn-out cry, Yukio's golden flaming aura flared dramatically as the ground shook beneath their feet! Stones and rocks began rising from the ground once again, and the wind picked up once again along the battle field as strong winds once more blew out from Yukio's form! Usami smiled, not yet impressed by the transformation!
"Huh?!?" Yoshio muttered aloud as he sensed something deeper within Yukio. "His power, it's unreal! I can sense his true power hidden within! He's a lot stronger than Koji! Where did he get so much power?!?"
Kien noticed that as well, and he was rendered speechless by what he sensed from Yukio! The other heroes just stared in awe!
Back at Shun's lookout, Shun and Jontu noted the rising power of the new Super Saiyan on the battlefield! They were stunned at the power they were sensing from Yukio!
"Can you feel that energy, Kami Shun?" Jontu muttered in complete amazement, almost paralyzed in awe at the power he sensed.
"Yes, Jontu!" Shun answered as he too seemed to be almost paralyzed in awe. "There is a Super Saiyan preparing to fight against Usami, but he's transforming into a more powerful state still! His power is unbelievable! Well, I guess we have the answer to that burning question of whether or not there is a power level beyond that of a Super Saiyan! And now, we wait!"
Meanwhile, back at Dr. Dreg's destroyed lab, something moved beneath the rubble and debris of what used to be Dr. Dreg's lab! Seconds later, there was an eruption of energy, dispersing the debris from its place and scattering it for quite a distance! As everything settled down once again, there was a hulking, metal monstrosity standing where the debris had been moments before! It was a silvery metallic color with eerie red sensors for eyes, and it looked to be completely robotic! Readouts flashed in its sensors as it detected something in the distance! It noted the rising energy signal it detected with its scouter-like sensors!
"There are two huge powers about to fight," it said in its monotone robotic voice as it noted what its sensors were detecting. "One of the powers is the incubus android creation of my creator Dr. Dreg. The other is not currently registered in my data banks. I must find out who it is ... and destroy this unidentified power and all other life on the planet."
Back at the battle site, Yukio continued to increase in power! His muscles began to swell as his physique enlarged dramatically! Mountains in the vicinity began to crumble as rocks exploded! Even Usami finally showed an expression of astonishment and awe as he sensed Yukio's power transforming the Super Saiyan into a greater power!
"What's this?!?" Usami muttered in disbelief as he gawked at Yukio's transformation. "I can feel an incredible power surge within him!"
After a while, Yukio's now super-pumped muscles stopped growing larger, and the environmental effects subsided, leaving only the glow and the characteristics of a Super Saiyan to accompany his increased bulk! Usami seemed quite impressed, and that prompted Yukio to put on a cocky smirk as he breathed out as if retiring from a heavy exertion!
"I see you're quite impressed with my power!" Yukio gloated as he stood confidently before the monster. "I call this an Ascended Super Saiyan! Are you ready to be destroyed now?"
"My, but you have improved your confidence along with your power!" Usami taunted the Ascended Super Saiyan sarcastically. "Do you actually think that your power will be enough to challenge mine now?"
"Why don't we find out!" Yukio exclaimed almost calmly as he flew at Usami with blinding speed, surprising the monster.
Yukio's punch found its mark on Usami's jaw, knocking the monster across the battlefield for a great distance! Using his incredible speed, Yukio zipped past the hurtling fiend and intercepted him with a powerful roundhouse kick that echoed like a terrible thunderclap, knocking the biomechanical beast skyward! Again using his great speed, Yukio zipped past Usami's skyrocketing form and stopped high above it to hammer the fiend with a two-fisted smash that drove Usami to the ground with a crater-forming, dust-scattering crash! Yukio smiled cockily as he waited for the dust cloud to dissipate! The others were in awe at what they witnessed!
"He's even stronger than Usami now!" Kien muttered incredulously as he gawked at the powerful warrior. "How is that possible?"
When the dust cloud dissipated, Usami stood to his feet and looked skyward towards Yukio! The beast grimaced angrilly, and Yukio responded with a mocking laugh! This further infuriated Usami!'
"Why, you!" Usami growled in seething rage as his body trembled in furious anger. "I'll show you!"
The incubus android flew up at Yukio and launched into a flurry of punch attempts, but the Ascended Super Saiyan evaded each and every punch attempt by the synthetic monster! Usami's frustration and rage grew with each missed attack, and Yukio added fuel to the fire by maintaining his arrogant smirk while he dodged Usami's attacks!
Suddenly, Yukio ducked under a punch attempt by Usami, surprising the monster! Turning himself upside down in mid-air, Yukio drove both feet straight into Usami's midsection, knocking the fiend through the air from the brutal impact of the attack! Flipping completely over backwards, Yukio returned to an upright position, hovering in mid-air! From that position, he attacked Usami's sailing form with a rapid-fire multi-shot energy blast assault, and the resulting explosions were terrifying to behold!
"It's incredible!" Sumio exclaimed as he watched the fight, still prone and beaten like the others. "He's beating Usami! He's actually beating him!"
"Yes!" Sumie added with a hint of hope in her smile. "Maybe this Saiyan will succeed where the other one could not! Maybe our nightmare may finally come to an end!"
"I hope you're right!" Kien muttered as he too watched the fight while struggling to recover from the beating Usami gave him.
Yoshio pulled out his pouch of senzu beans and poured them out into his hand. He looked at the senzu beans and then at the others. They all looked at him.
"I've got three beans left," he muttered in disappointment as everyone felt the same disappointment and countenances faltered a bit.
"Then there's only one thing to do," Kien said as he got everyone's attention. "We each get half-a-bean, and we save the last half-bean in case of emergency. That's the only fair solution."
Everyone nodded in agreement. Yoshio broke a bean in half and ate one of the halves. When he had regained enough strength, he administered the other half of that bean to Yuko. Then he broke another bean in half and gave the two Zodorians each a half-bean. Finally, he broke the last bean in half and gave one half to Kien and put the last half back in the pouch. Within moments, all five heroes were back on their feet, but they still looked battered and weakened.
"With only half-a-bean, we aren't going to achieve full power, nor are we going to recover fully from the damage we've sustained," Kien noted analytically as he addressed the others. "Our only choice now is to keep out of the damage path of that fight. We don't have a hope of helping."
The others nodded in agreement as they all took flight to get further away from the action between Yukio and Usami. They all looked disappointed and despondent over their situation, but they seemed a bit hopeful as well.
Yukio finally stopped blasting Usami with his energy assault and allowed the smoke to clear! When the smoke cleared, Usami had survived the attack by covering up with his arms and tail, enduring Yukio's attack! Yukio chuckled as Usami resumed a ready stance in mid-air to hover before the supercharged Super Saiyan!
"Tell me this!" Usami demanded in bitter disbelief. "Where did you get all of your power? How is this possible? Tell me!"
"It's an interesting story really," Yukio explained. "It all started when I departed planet Veloria, right after experiencing the power of Koji's Super Saiyan transformation but before he defeated Xarlok. I made my way to a technologically advanced world where they had gravity machines and special training facilities for warriors. I trained under multiple gravities for seven years as intensely as I could until I finally achieved the power of the Super Saiyan. It was my rage that allowed me to do so, my rage over my previous inability to achieve my only goal in life.
"Then I learned of a special room on the planet in which I could get a year's worth of training in one day. They told me that I could only stay in the room for two days and no more, so I went all-out for two days and came out. My power had increased substantially, and I had achieved this new state: the Ascended Super Saiyan! I have fought many great battles in the last eight years to hone my battle skills and prowess, and, each time I fought, my power grew! Now, you are witnessing me at my peak! If we are done with the small talk, then let's get on with the fighting!"
Yukio flew in close to Usami and slammed a knee into Usami's midsection, doubling him over! Yukio then spun around and slammed a reverse elbow smash into Usami's face, rocking the fiend's head back violently! Yukio then performed a mid-air front flip until he was upside down and facing Usami! From that position, he fired a massively powerful energy blast into Usami's torso, blasting off the incubus android's arm at the shoulder! Yukio smiled as Usami cried out in pain and then began breathing heavily as he clutched his shoulder stump while descending to the ground to land! Yukio descended to the ground as well, smirking at his handiwork!
"Oh, my!" Yukio joked as he chuckled at Usami's predicament. "Has anyone seen my arm? It was just here a moment ago!"
Yukio laughed a hearty laugh of amusement at Usami's plight, and Usami grimaced in partial pain and partial anger at Yukio's mocking of him! Yukio laughed heartily, and his laughter grew more hearty by the moment! Usami was still breathing heavily as he grimaced at Yukio! The other heroes were ecstatic as they looked on from a-far!
"Look!" Sumio cried in excited amazement at the damage Yukio had done to Usami. "He did it!"
"Wow! It's incredible!" Yoshio chimed in, sharing in the others' enthusiasm. "He just put a serious cramp in Usami's style!"
"I think he's going to put Usami out of commission for good!" Sumie exclaimed in gleeful hope.
"If he doesn't, it's a cinch that Koji will as soon as he finishes his training!" Yuko added as she smiled confidently at that notion.
"Let's not start the celebration yet," Kien announced solemnly, getting the attention of the others with his wariness. "Remember, he has cell samples form both Kuang and myself inside him, and we Nameks have the ability to regenerate ourselves. I'm not sure Yukio realizes that yet, but I'm sure he will soon. It's only a matter of time."
The others turned their attention back to the struggle with alarm etched on their faces as they watched with baited breath! Yukio continued to laugh heartily, but Usami's grimace turned to a sinister smile! Yukio noticed something was a-miss, so he stopped laughing and looked at Usami!
"That was very clever, Saiyan," Usami chuckled as he smiled diabolically at the confused Ascended Super Saiyan. "Now, I've got a little trick to show you!"
With a grunting yell, a new arm almost exploded out of the stump of the old one, replacing the one that was lost! Only Kien was not startled to see this development! Usami laughed a bit before addressing Yukio!
"Oh, my! Where's my cocky grin? It was on my face just moments ago!" Usami taunted Yukio. "Now, are you ready to continue?"
Yukio regained his composure and steeled his resolve to fight! Blurring in and out of sight, they began exchanging hand-to-hand techniques, but Yukio still appeared to have the advantage! Even though Usami seemed to be more formidable at this point, Yukio still displayed superior fighting skills and techniques! The others watched the battle intently from the distance, keeping out of the danger zone!
