"Things Get Bad"
Kien and the others struggled to keep their power levels suppressed so that Usami wouldn't be able to locate them. They also trained their senses on the clash between Usami and Yuen, their concern for the Kai not wasted. Android Alpha continued to work to fix Android Titan up a bit, but he was no android mechanic like Dr. Dreg, and he could do little more than 'android first aid' to treat his teammate.
"Hey!" Android Alpha called out to the organic heroes. "Can you do for him what you did for the Namek?"
"Sorry, pal," Yoshio answered apologetically. "The senzu beans only affect organic beings. It won't work on androids. I'm sorry."
"I'm sure you are!" Android Alpha muttered with a very conspicuous air of sarcasm in his reply.
"Don't get out of line, friend," Kien warned the android, nearly intimidating the smaller, less powerful android. "He's not your problem now. Usami is. We're all going to have to work together now, whether any of us likes it or not. When this is over, we can settle our differences, but, right now, we're uneasy allies. Honor the truce."
Android Alpha lowered his eyes to the ground and fell silent after Kien's firm rebuke. The organic heroes all turned their attention towards the battle between Yuen and Usami with great concern. Kien grimaced in frustrated concern for the Kai.
As Usami attacked again, Yuen once more used his instant transmission technique to evade and further frustrate the synthetic monster! Usami growled in seething anger as he looked around for any sign of Yuen's presense! Yuen reappeared a distance away the the left of Usami, confusing the fiend as well as frustrating him!
"Why won't you stand still and fight me, you miserable coward?" Usami roared in his rage at the Kai. "I grow tired of these silly games!"
"That's funny," Yuen replied with a sly smile on his face. "I'm just beginning to enjoy this little bit of cat-and-mouse myself. I thought you might enjoy a challenge, and, since I can't fight you toe-to-toe, I thought you'd enjoy something a bit more challenging!"
"I have no time for these petty games!" Usami snarled in frustrated anger at the Kai. "I have androids to absorb!"
"Well, too bad!" Yuen taunted the enraged beast with a sly smile on his face. "They've eluded your grasp now! They've fled from here, and you won't find them now!"
"What?!?" Usami muttered, looking around for the others and then realizing, in berserker fury, that the androids had escaped him. "No! This can't be happening to me! How could I be so foolish? How could I allow myself to be distracted by this fool like this? I should be complete! It's all his fault! He's to blame! Do you hear me, fool? It's all your fault, you miserable little rat, and I intend to make you pay!"
With that said, Usami charged at Yuen in a blind rage and attacked him, but Yuen continued to use his instant transmission technique to elude the rampaging fiend! Each time he did so, it enraged and frustrated the synthetic beast all the more! Each evaded attack was a close call for the shrewd Kai, but he knew a head-on clash would be suicidal!
Back at the island where the androids and the heroes were hiding, there was a long, awkward silence. The organic fighters were staring off in the distance towards the place where they sensed the Kai's battle with Usami. Android Alpha continued to work on the battle-damaged Android Titan in silence as Android Titan rested quietly.
"I have a question I want to ask," Sumio said as he turned his attention towards the androids, drawing Android Alpha's attention to him as the other organic heroes now turned their attention towards the androids. "Why do you destroy our cities and kill our people?"
"Because Dr. Dreg programmed us to terrorize the people and destroy things," Android Alpha replied almost proudly. "Also because it's fun."
"Fun?!?" Sumie rebuked the android angrilly as all of the organic heroes grimaced in seething anger at the android's comments. "How dare you call killing innocent people and destroying their cities fun! You're terrible! I knew there was a good reason to hate you and your kind!"
"Well, I feel more at ease now," Android Alpha taunted the Zodorian. "I'm not very fond of you organic life forms either."
"Well, if you dislike us so much, why do you never kill us after our battles?" Sumio inquired angrilly.
"It's really quite simple," the android replied in a taunting manner as he almost let a smile cross his lips. "You see, if we killed you after our battles, then we wouldn't be able to have any more fun kicking your butts. It was very entertaining, beating the crap out of the lot of you."
"We would've eventually gotten strong enough to beat you one day, or someone else would've come along with sufficient power to destroy you!" Kien snarled in a bitter retort.
"Do you really honestly believe that, lizard breath?" Android Alpha taunted Kien mockingly.
"I got strong enough to fight Android Prime one-on-one on equal terms, didn't I?" Kien replied with a slight smile crossing his lips as he answered the mocking android with a taunting manner of his own.
"How?" Android Alpha inquired as he looked into Kien's eyes a bit flustered by Kien's retort. "How is it possible for you to get so much power? Tell me how!"
"It's very simple, my friend," Kien answered with a proud, confident demeanor. "First, Kuang fused with a dying Namek warrior, and then he trained in the Chamber of Spirit and Time for two days, a room where you can get a year of training in one day. The two Zodorian warriors also trained there for two days. Then, I, Kien, fused with a Namek warrior on another planet. After journeying here, the two of us fought you with our allies, the Zodorians and the Super Saiyan. After the battle, Kuang realized he was dying, the victim of mortal injuries incurred during that final battle. We fused together to become the Super Namek you see before you right now. If we continue to survive and train, we will keep getting stronger."
"So, where's the Super Saiyan?" Android Alpha inquired, trying to conceal his frustration. "Did he also suffer mortal injuries in the battle?"
"No," Yuko replied with a stone cold glare in her eyes. "He's gone into the Chamber of Spirit and Time with his son so that they can train and become strong enough to defeat you, or anybody else!"
"Well, for your sakes, I hope he succeeds," the diabolical android taunted with a sly smile on his face.
"Hey, you guys stand to lose just as much as we do, so don't get cocky, you jerk!" Yoshio snapped at the android.
"Easy, guys," Kien said, regaining his own composure and relaxing as he calmed down. "We don't want Usami to sense our power levels and locate this island. If we become angry, then our energy will increase in response to our rage, so we must remain calm. I'd keep that in mind as well, android. I don't think you want that monster finding us either."
Back at the battlefield, Usami stopped suddenly in mid-attack and looked off in the distance, getting Yuen's attention. He seemed to sense something in the distance. Yuen realized what was happening.
"What was that?" Usami thought to himself as he pondered what he was sensing. "For just a moment I felt a sudden surge of power in this direction! I recognize the Namek's energy signal! They're that way!"
"Oh, no! The androids must've angered them! Their power levels rose momentarily! Now, Usami knows the direction to search for them!" Yuen thought to himself in terror before he screamed out to get Usami's attention. "You monster! I'll never let you get to those androids! Do you hear me? I won't let you!"
With that said, Yuen charged straight at Usami, and Usami turned his attention back to Yuen with a smile on his face! Yuen tried to attack Usami with a flurry of desperate punches, but the incubus android used his superior speed to evade each and every punch Yuen threw at him! After several moments of this tactic, Usami then drove an uppercut-style punch to Yuen's midsection, doubling the Kai over and causing him to cough up blood!
"Originally, I had no intention of absorbing you," Usami commented as he looked into the stunned Kai's eyes and smiled evilly. "My power was so much stronger than yours, but I've become impressed with a few of your tricks over the two battles we've fought today. I think I'd like to add them to my arsenal! I think they would serve me well!"
The Kai's eyes widened in horror as he realized what the fiendish incubus android was talking about! Usami then grabbed Yuen by the throat, choking him with one hand, and Yuen struggled in Usami's grasp, gagging from the inability to breathe! Usami then plunged his syringe-like tail tip into Yuen's back, and the Kai shuddered for a moment! Yuen felt his energy leaving his body as it was being absorbed through Usami's tail! Yuen began to groan and tremble as his body began to shrivel, and his power level continued to plummet like a stone falling off a cliff!
Back on the island, the organic heroes sensed the Kai's plight. They blubbered in shock, and sweat beaded up on their foreheads. For several seconds, no one said a word, and the androids noted their concern.
"No!" Kien muttered aloud in a voice which seemed as though he had to struggle quite hard to free it from the lump forming in his throat. "Yuen! ... Usami got him! ... He's being absorbed!"
"Does that mean he'll gain all of his power?" Yoshio inquired in a terrified voice as he trembled terribly.
"Yes," Kien solemnly uttered in a near-whisper. "All of the Kai's power and all of his special techniques as well. This is bad."
Everyone lowered their eyes towards the ground in silence. The organic heroes were all giving the ailing Kai a moment of silence to pay their final respects. The androids were simply pondering their fates.
In the Chamber of Spirit and Time, Koji and Kato were sparring once more outside of the space pod. They were both in Super Saiyan form, and their sparring seemed intense. Koji marveled at his son's ever-improving power and skill.
"Unbelievable!" Koji thought to himself as he continued to spar with Kato. "His strength and skill are growing along with his energy, and they're all growing at an astounding rate! I was a truly exceptional Saiyan at birth, and my childhood proved everyone's expectations of me, but my son is truly extraordinary! It must be the combination of Saiyan and human blood coursing through his veins which makes him so powerful!"
"Wow!" Kato thought to himself as he sparred with his father. "All this training with Dad has really paid off! I'm a lot stronger now! My energy has also grown a lot while we've been here! This is so cool!"
Back at the battle site, Yuen's body disappeared until only his clothing was left, and his empty garments dropped to the ground after sliding off of Usami's tail. Usami smiled at the acquisition of new power. Then, he looked off in the distance, and he smiled even wider.
"It was nice having lunch with you, my friend!" Usami rejoiced over his absorption of the Kai. "Now, I have further dinner arrangements with a couple of androids more! Sorry to eat and run, but I've got a tight schedule to keep! Okay, you mechanical meals, here I come!"
With that said, Usami put two fingers to his forehead and disappeared from the battlefield! All of the sudden, he reappeared just a short distance away from the heroes and the androids on the island where they were hiding! They were quite shocked to see him!
"Well, well, well!" Usami taunted at the heroes with a big smile on his face. "I see you've kept the androids safe for me. I am very pleased. Now, if you don't mind, I have business to tend to with your new mechanical buddies! Step aside! I'll have them now!"
Kien assumed a fighting stance, prompting the others to do likewise. Android Alpha also assumed a fighting stance, but Android Titan was still propped up against a rock, unable to rise to fight at that time. Usami smiled as if he was amused.
"If you want them, you'll have to go through us!" Kien growled back at Usami with an air of determination even though the sweat was beading up on his brow in worry. "We're not backing down!"
"Why don't I like this?" Yoshio thought to himself as sweat beaded up on his brow and he appeared intimidated. "This guy's just way too strong for us! He's gonna cream us!"
"Really now, Kien," Usami taunted while smiling evilly. "You know you're no match for me, and you're the strongest among them, even stronger than Android Alpha. Android Titan would be the strongest, but he's already been whipped into line! Even if all of you fight me at once, you don't stand a chance! Give up now and save yourself the pain and misery!"
"Alright, everyone!" Kien yelled to the others to coordinate their attacks. "Let's blast him now!"
All of the fighters who were able fired the most powerful blast they could at Usami, and he smiled as their blasts closed on his position! The explosion was extraordinary, scattering dust and smoke high into the air and wiping out massive amounts of the landscape! When the smoke and dust finally cleared, there was no sign of Usami anywhere, just the sheer devastation of their combined attacks! The sighs of relief caught in their throats as they quickly turned to see Usami standing on the other side of them, closer to the androids!
"Silly gnats!" Usami gloated in his arrogant manner. "That little rat's instant transmission ability is quite a handy trick, wouldn't you say? All I have to do is focus on a destination, and, if I can sense it, I can go there at the speed of light, making travel along a planet instantaneous! You cannot stop me! I am going to become complete!"
"Come on, guys! We've got to stop him!" Kien shouted to rally them to the cause once again as he led the charge to attack the incubus android in hand-to-hand combat, prompting the others to follow his lead.
Their attacks were fast and furious, but Usami's speed was too great for them, and he was able to avoid getting hit by any of his attackers! They persisted nonetheless, and the incubus android continued to display his superior speed and skill by dodging every attack by every attacker! A simple backhand swipe sent Yuko sliding across the island through the dirt and sand! A simple forward slap-swat to the head of Yoshio sent him also bouncing across the battlefield for a great distance!
Kien and the Zodorians rushed Usami to attack him, but Usami nailed the Zodorians with a split-legged double split kick while simultaneously moving his head to the side to allow Kien's punch attempt to miss! The Zodorians were knocked in opposite directions from each other, and they both skidded a great distance along the landscape! After dodging Kien's attack, Usami hammered him with an uppercut to the chin, knocking him across the landscape like a shotput! This left a sorely intimidated Android Alpha alone against the menacing beast!
"It looks like it's just the two of us now, my long-sought-after friend!" Usami exclaimed merrily as he stood there ready to take the android down. "What say we make up for lost time, eh?"
Usami slammed his foot into Android Alpha's midsection, doubling him over and stunning him! Android Alpha's eyes widened, and he gasped and then groaned in pain from Usami's blindingly fast and brutally powerful kick!
"Don't worry!" Usami taunted the stunned android. "It will all be over shortly! Then you will become a part of total perfection!"
With that said, Usami drove a two-fisted smash down onto the top of Android Alpha's head, knocking the android prone onto the ground! The Zodorians were barely conscious across the battlefield, unable to rise at that time to continue the fight! The humans and the Namek were in the same shape as the Zodorians! Usami prepared his tail to absorb the android!
"Are you ready now, my friend?" Usami inquired tauntingly as he lowered the funneled-out tail towards the hurt android. "Don't worry. It might be a little frightening at first, but you'll get used to it!"
Suddenly, a fist connected with Usami's jaw, turning his head and knocking him back a couple of steps! He looked to see Android Titan standing to oppose him once again, bursts of electricity crackling along his head where he was blasted! Usami laughed as the determined android struggled to remain on his feet!
"Really now, Android Titan!" Usami rebuked sarcastically. "Wait your turn! I'll get to you when I'm done with your friend!"
Having said that, Usami swatted Android Titan aside with his tail, knocking him a short distance away from him and prone to the ground! Usami then opened up the end of his tail again and lowered it down over Android Alpha as he was getting up! Android Alpha struggled helplessly as Usami's tail slowly swallowed him up! In moments, the task was complete, and the heroes and Android Titan watched on in horror as the transformation began!
A bright glowing light surrounded Usami as he began transforming, and small pebbles, stones, and rocks began rising from the ground! The sky went dark, the ground began to shake, and strong winds began blowing out from Usami as electricity crackled all around him and his bright glow!
