"Desperation Magnified"
Usami stood before the awed crowd of onlookers, admiring his new bulkier form. The androids and the Zodorians were all speechless at the sight. Usami seemed oblivious to them for a while.
"Yes!" he exclaimed excitedly as he flexed his muscles and examined the features of his new form. "I can feel my power, my strength! It has increased considerably over what it was when I first arrived here! I can't wait to see what my next form will be like!"
Usami turned his attention back towards Android Titan and smiled diabolically, causing everyone to shudder in uneasiness.
"You're not going to get away with this, you monster!" Android Titan snarled at Usami. "You're going to pay!"
With that said, the hulking android charged towards the revived incubus android and began punching him repeatedly in the face with all his strength and power, but his mightiest punches had no effect on the transformed monster! The others looked on incredulously at this sight! Usami then caught both of Android Titan's fists in his hands and drove a knee into the hulking android's midsection, doubling him over! Usami then punted Android Titan across the battlefield like a football!
As Android Titan crashed to the ground near the edge of the island, Sumie saw something in the water! She recognized it to be a Nameccian arm floating there, partially submerged! Then she saw the arm move a bit as the rest of the body began to surface as well, close to the shore! Kien was still alive, and Sumie pointed it out to Sumio after tapping him on the shoulder!
"Look, Sumio!" she cried as she pointed out into the water. "Isn't that Kien? I think he's still alive!"
"You're right!" her brother answered her excitedly. "You stay here! I'll go fish him out of there and bring him back!"
Sumio flew out to retrieve Kien's unconscious form as Usami pursued Android Titan to continue their battle! Android Titan got back to his feet and looked up just in time to see Usami hit him with a passing punch, staggering the mechanical brute! Usami then hammered Usami with a two-fisted smash to the back of the head from behind, knocking Android Titan across the battlefield once more, this time in the other direction!
As Sumio retrieved Kien's limp body and returned to his sister, Usami flew at Android Titan as he was getting up slowly! Android Titan suddenly raised both hands up at Usami and began unloading powerful energy blasts, one right after another, into the approaching fiend's form! The explosions were incredible from the series of blasts hammering Usami's position, but Sumio and Sumie still looked worried about something!
Meanwhile, Jontu finally found Yuen's unconscious form. He brought his flying carpet in closer and stopped it next to Yuen's prone body. He got off the flying carpet and quickly administered the senzu bean to Yuen. Moments later, Yuen awoke, and he raised up like a shot.
"No! It's horrible!" Yuen screamed as he looked around disorientated for a moment. "I've got to stop - huh? What's going on here?"
"There's not much time to explain, I'm afraid," Jontu replied solemnly. "I am Jontu, and I am the assistant to Kami Shun. He sent me to find you and revive you with a senzu bean. The evil monster you were fighting has defeated our strongest fighter currently in the field of battle, the Super Namek Kien, and now the fiend is stronger than ever! I don't know how we're going to survive this new threat, unless Koji and his son complete their training in the Chamber of Spirit and Time soon and find a way to reach a new power level!"
"What?" Yuen muttered in astonishment. "Koji? The Super Saiyan? He's here on Zodoria?"
"Yes," Jontu answered the Kai. "The androids defeated him in their first battle, so he took his son into the Chamber of Spirit and Time where they could get a year of training in one day. Their time is almost up, but I don't know if we'll be able to hold out until then! We need your help!"
"Yes, of course," Yuen replied as he stood up on his feet once more in dramatic stance. "I understand."
"Thank you, Kai Yuen!" Jontu exclaimed hopefully as he got back on his flying carpet to leave. "I know you can do it!"
"I'm not so sure of that, my friend," Yuen thought to himself as Jontu left on his flying carpet. "My power was insufficient to stop Usami before, and, now that his power is so much greater than it was when I fought him the first time, what chance will I have now? No! Still, I must try!"
Meanwhile, Android Titan finally ceased his attack against Usami's position, breathing heavilly as if from fatigue! The hulking android looked badly battered already, and he watched the smoke screen for signs of Usami! When the explosions' smoke screen dissipated, there stood Usami unharmed! Everyone was petrified! Usami merely extended a hand and fired an energy blast into Android Titan, hitting him in the head and blowing a piece of his head off to reveal the circuitry beneath! As Android Titan hit the ground in a 'semi-conscious' state, Usami smiled!
"I told you it was hopeless!" Usami gloated as he noted Android Titan's weakened condition. "Now the only remaining question is: which of you androids shall I absorb next?"
"I have the answer to that one, monster!" came a reply from across the battlefield, prompting everyone to look to see Yuen standing there in a heroic stance glaring at Usami. "You'll absorb no more androids!"
"Well, well!" Usami almost chuckled as he recognized the Kai from his previous battle. "You were hardly a challenge for me in my first form. What makes you think you stand a chance against me now? I can sense your pitiful power, and it would be a waste of time for you to fight me!"
"Everyone, listen to me!" Yuen shouted to the others as he addressed the good guys in this scenario. "Get the androids out of here now and find somewhere to hide! I'll try to hold him off long enough for you to get to safety! Now hurry, and remember to suppress your power levels so he can't sense them! Go now!"
Yuen assumed a fighting stance and tensed every muscle in his body until his veins bulged! A glowing aura ensheathed him, and it turned red when he called upon the power of a kaio-ken times twenty! The powerful winds blew out across the landscape with gale force intensity, and the sky darkened as the Kai gathered his most powerful energies to wield against Usami! Usami laughed out loud as he watched the power-up!
"What?" Usami called out to the Kai in sarcastic disrespect for his power. "That trick again? Are you going to try to use that stupid spirit bomb attack against me again? Well, it won't work because I won't let you!"
Usami charged at Yuen, but Yuen disappeared from the path of the monster, surprising the incubus android! Sumio grabbed Android Titan and flew off with him in his arms, followed by Sumie carrying Kien in her arms! Android Alpha followed them after a quick consideration of his options, not liking his chances against Usami!
As Usami looked around for Yuen, Yuen reappeared across the battlefield behind him! Usami turned and noted the Kai's new position!
"Cute little trick, you pitiful excuse for a warrior!" Usami growled at Yuen in disrespect. "You just bought yourself a little time, but I'm growing tired of this little game! Why don't I just finish this now?"
Meanwhile, Yoshio and Yuko met up with the fleeing heroes in flight, and they were amazed to see that sight.
"Hey, guys!" Yoshio called out in total confusion at the strange bedfellows which comprised the entourage. "What's going on?"
"Come with us, Yoshio, and bring those senzu beans!" Sumie replied in a frantic voice as the entourage flew past the Earth heroes. "We've got to get these androids into hiding before Usami can absorb them! There's a new fighter trying to hold Usami off to buy us a little time! Let's go!"
Yoshio and Yuko followed the entourage immediately, fleeing the site of the battle between the Kai and the monster! Back on the island, Usami fired a powerful blast at Yuen, but the Kai again disappeared from the path of this attack, allowing the blast to annihilate most of what remained of the island! Usami looked baffled!
"What the - ?!?" Usami muttered in bewilderment as he looked for the Kai's new position. "I thought it was superspeed, but it's some sort of teleportation! What gives here?"
Yuen reappeared a great distance behind him once again, frustrating the monster with his tactics by making him have to turn around to face the young Kai! Yuen then disappeared again, and Usami was still incredulous over Yuen's instant transmission technique because he couldn't figure it out yet! Yuen reappeared on the other side of him once again, forcing him to turn around to face him yet again!
"This is wearing a bit thin on me, you little coward!" Usami roared in seething rage as he glared angrilly at the Kai. "Fight me now!"
Usami flew at Yuen to attack him, but Yuen teleported again just as Usami was about to punch him! Usami roared in his rage and frustration over the Kai's tactics, and the Kai reappeared in the distance behind him once again! Usami was livid as he glared at the Kai!
Meanwhile, the gang landed on a distant island and proceeded to hide there. Sumio let Android Alpha down to the ground somewhat gently, and Sumie eased Kien to the ground as gently as she could. Sumio then turned to Yuko and Yoshio.
"Give Kien a senzu bean, and, both of you, keep your power level suppressed," Sumio directed the Earth heroes in short order. "We don't want Usami to find us."
"Right!" agreed Yoshio as he knelt down next to Kien and gave him a senzu bean while Android Alpha checked on Android Titan.
In a few moments, Kien awoke and sat up. Yoshio and Yuko each rested a hand on his shoulders to calm him.
"Easy, big guy," Yoshio said reassuringly to Kien. "You're okay now. Listen, we need you to suppress your power level as much as possible. We can't let Usami find us and absorb the remaining androids."
"Remaining androids?!?" Kien muttered in surprise as he jumped to his feet and noticed the two androids, particularly the devastated condition of Android Titan. "The he got Android Prime."
"Yes," Sumio answered solemnly as Kien's facial expression became very solemn as well. "He did."
"I was afraid of that," Kien muttered disappointedly before sensing a familiar power in the distance fighting with Usami. "Wait! That's Yuen fighting against Usami! He doesn't stand a chance! He might be a Kai, but Usami's power is far beyond anything I've ever felt before!"
"I know you want to go help Yuen, but you've got to stay put, Kien!" Yoshio advised the Super Namek. "I'm sorry, but we need you here! Yuen wanted it this way, and he knows what he's doing! We have to stick together right now! Maybe all together we might stand a chance of preventing that beast from absorbing the androids and reaching his final form!"
Kien lowered his fists to his side, but the sweat on his forehead and the facial expression revealed the obvious frustration and helplessness he was feeling over his inability to act in these dreadful, desperate times.
