"Saiyan Duel On Planet Veloria"
Koji flew at Yukio, and the towering, transformed titan roared as he awaited Koji's arrival! Yukio swung a great fist at Koji, but Koji swerved around it and drove a passing kick into the side of Yukio's head, staggering the off-balance Oozaru! Yukio turned to face Koji once again!
"A Saiyan's power increases tenfold by the light of a full moon!" Koji thought to himself as he grimaced in anger at himself for being duped in the first place. "Now I've got to figure out a way to bring him down without getting too trashed in the process! What a predicament!"
Yukio roared at Koji, firing a massive energy blast at him in the process! Koji's eyes grew wide as he saw the blast approaching! He then steeled his resolve and began firing a blast into the Oozaru's blast! The two blasts met and exploded like a small nuclear device in between the two fighters! Koji found himself hurled to the ground with a thunderous thud, making a small crater where he hit!
Dragging himself from the crater, he saw Yukio in his Oozaru state likewise dragging himself from a much larger crater on the other side of the arena! Koji quickly removed his cape and tossed it aside before flying once more at his gigantic opponent!
Yukio was only just getting his bearings back from that last exchange when Koji slammed into him with a mighty two-fisted smash to the chin, turning the big brute's head and toppling him over! Koji then dove straight into Yukio's midsection feet-first, driving both feet into the beast's belly as hard as he could! Yukio sat up instinctively, stunned by the powerful attack! Koji then streaked up under Yukio's chin with a two-fisted uppercut, rocking the beast's head backwards!
Yukio put one hand behind him to keep himself sitting up and clobbered Koji with the other one, knocking the mighty warrior back across the battlefield and into the far wall! Koji's body made a small crater in the wall before it crumpled to the ground with a thud! Koji pulled himself to his feet again as he saw Yukio once more getting up as well!
"Even without my weighted cape, it's still difficult to deal with a Saiyan of his caliber transformed into the Oozaru state!" Koji thought to himself as he grimaced in a mixture of pain and frustration. "I've got to try harder! I've got to sever his tail quickly and then render him unconscious!"
Koji fired a series of energy blasts at Yukio, but the blasts didn't explode on impact with the giant ape! Instead the energy attacks wrapped themselves around the big ape's arms, pinning them to his torso, and around his mouth like a gag! Yukio struggled against the energy restraints, straining to break free of them!
"Now's my chance!" Koji thought to himself as he witnessed his foe's captive state. "While he's restrained, I'll cut off his tail!"
Koji lifted his hand above his head and charged up what appeared to be a destructo disk over his open palm! Yoshio looked at this with amazement! Yuko sat on the edge of her seat, biting her nails as she watched!
"What?!? How?!?" Yoshio thought to himself as he watched on incredulously as Koji powered up the attack. "That looks like the destructo disk attack that Krillen uses! How did this guy learn to do that?!?"
Koji threw the disk at Yukio's tail with a look of determination on his face! However, Yukio managed to break free of the energy restraints at the last moment and leap over the disk attack at the last second! Koji's jaw dropped as he watched the disk slam into the ground and explode harmlessly!
"Grrrrrr! I don't believe it!" Koji snarled in dismay. "He managed to avoid the attack! Now that leaves me with no choice but to try to stop him the hard way! I really don't like this!"
Yukio roared and beat his chest as Koji glared at him angrilly! The audience was very impressed to say the least! The fighters in the back were all in awe of the battle, except for Xarlok!
"This is incredible!" Kien muttered aloud, his eyes wide with awe at the sight of the mighty Saiyan warrior battling the giant ape. "I can't believe he's still hanging in there against that monster! What skill!"
"Yes!" Tao agreed wholeheartedly with amazement at Koji's battle prowess. "I hope I get to meet him in the finals! It would be a great challenge for me!"
"You better not worry about him, fool!" Xarlok thought to himself as he cut his eyes back at Tao. "If you manage to get past the Nameccian, I'll grind you to a pulp under my feet on my way to the finals!"
"This is crazy!" Varkon thought to himself as he watched the two Saiyans battling it out in the arena. "I am so dead!"
"It is almost time," the Kanassian Hirato thought to himself as he observed the battle with his knowing eyes.
"I must admit, that Saiyan is quite the skilled fighter," Xarlok thought to himself as he watched the battle. "I never thought a Saiyan could be such a gifted and skilled fighter, let alone so strong, but, then again, I never thought a Saiyan would ever beat a Changeling either!"
Koji stood his ground as Yukio made his move! The giant Oozaru ape closed the distance quickly with a few strides and hammered down onto Koji with a clubbing fist strike, but the ape's fist passed right through Koji's form, and the after image then faded from sight! Bewildered by this, Yukio was stumped, and he didn't notice Koji reappear behind him until the blow was struck! Koji fired two blasts out to the sides of the Oozaru's head and caused them to turn and fly straight into the ears of the giant ape! Yukio howled in unbelievable agony, clutching his ears with his massive hands! Koji then appeared right under the pain-striken brute, using his incredible speed to get there, and assumed the kamehameha stance!
"Kamehameha!" Koji yelled in a drawn-out fashion before releasing an incredible kamehameha blast into the pit of the beast's stomach, knocking it across the arena and slamming it into the far wall, putting a large crater in the wall as the Oozaru crashed to the ground with a thud. "Sorry to have to do that, my Saiyan kin, but I'm winning this tournament!"
Koji fired a blast skyward, destroying the moon image he'd created earlier! While he was doing that, Yukio trembled terribly in the effort to get back up from Koji's kamehameha blast! After several seconds of this trembling effort, Yukio slumped to the ground unconscious and reverted back to his original state, keeping his tail in the process! Koji smiled, and everyone else was in total shock except Hirato the Kanassian!
"Just as I'd foreseen," Hirato thought to himself with a slight smile, "the Saiyan warrior Koji has emerged the victor in this incredible fight!"
"This Saiyan is a lot better than I gave him credit for!" Xarlok thought to himself in amazement as he noted Koji's victory.
"Amazing!" Kien managed to exclaim after a bit of grunting and stammering in awe of Koji's performance.
"I must fight this Saiyan!" Tao thought to himself in a mixture of awe and excitement as he likewise took note of the Saiyan's victory.
"Oh, no!" Varkon thought as he trembled at the sight of Koji's victory over Yukio. "I'm dead! I hope he doesn't eat Arlians!"
"There you have it, people!" the announcer shouted into his microphone again. "It turns out Yukio wasn't really an Arcosian at all! He was a Saiyan, and he tricked Koji into creating some sort of artificial moon to trigger his transformation into a giant ape, but Koji's incredible battle savvy and raw power was still too much for the big lug! Koji's the winner!"
"Oh! I'm so relieved!" Yuko sighed in relief in the audience as she once more reverted to her dreamy staring at Koji. "He's so incredible, don't you agree, Yoshio? Yoshio?"
When she turned to Yoshio, he was sitting there wide-eyed with his jaw gaping wide, blubbering and trembling in horror at what he saw. She was dumbstruck by the sight of this. The audience was cheering and applauding Koji's victory, but Yoshio was horrifically astounded to the point of near-fetal trembling and blubbering.
"And I attacked him?!?" Yoshio thought to himself, not helping his current condition at all. "I must be clinically insane! I don't feel so well!"
