"The Horror Of Xarlok"
Tao looked on in horror as Xarlok flew at him to attack! Tao broke out of his momentary trance just in time to evade the first punch, but Xarlok then began pummeling the disadvantaged fighter at will with a series of hand-to-hand techniques! Everyone watched with stunned amazement as Xarlok pummeled Tao mercilessly, bruising him up a bit and drawing a bit of blood as well! Tao appeared almost helpless against this monstrous form of Xarlok!
"His power has increased incredibly!" Tao thought to himself, even while enduring incredible punishment at the hands of Xarlok. "His strength and speed have increased as well! I have to find a way to defeat him!"
Tao managed to break away from Xarlok's flurry and began flying high up into the air, high above the colliseum! Tao then took his place, hovering high over everything and looking down at the arrogant and mocking Changeling! Tao began charging a powerful energy attack at the ends of his outstretched hands!
A glowing sphere formed at the end of Tao's hands as he began to glow, and the sky began to darken slightly, the winds began to howl, and the ground began to tremble slightly! Moments later, the ground began to shake more strongly as small stones began rising off the ground! Mere seconds later, whirlwinds formed around the battlefield as the ground began shaking violently, and small rocks began to split! Then huge rocks began erupting out of the ground as the whirlwinds intensified in power, and lightning flashed in the sky like a heavenly waltz as the sky went dark!
As Tao finally finished powering up his attack, he launched the tremendous blast towards the arrogantly smiling Changeling! Xarlok seemed unafraid of this, and he just watched the blast's approach! Xarlok lifted his finger, and a growing ball of energy began forming a-top his finger!
The ball of energy grew quickly as Tao's blast drew closer to him, and Xarlok maintained his overconfident smile! As Tao's blast was almost upon his mountain-sized energy ball, Xarlok threw it at Tao! Xarlok's deathball hit Tao's blast, swallowed it up in mid-flight, and streaked upwards towards the awestruck warrior! Xarlok's deathball slammed into Tao and exploded like a nuclear explosion in the sky! All onlookers were forced to look away by the brilliance of he explosion, and powerful explosion-formed winds buffetted the arena, threatening to flatten the entire structure!
After the explosion subsided, Tao was nowhere to be seen! Xarlok smiled at his handiwork as everyone else was a-gast at the tragedy! Xarlok when began laughing a very sick and disturbing laugh!
"Now the true purpose for this tournament begins!" Xarlok roared as he laughed so very evilly. "Come, Koji! I await you!"
Koji made his way out into the battlefield, everyone a bit on edge as a result of this unorthodox entrance into the final match. Xarlok laughed sinisterly as Koji took his place across the battle field from him. Xarlok then addressed everyone there.
"This is the filthy monkey who humiliated my son by beating him twice and then killing him!" Xarlok called out. "I will not rest until I see him destroyed at my feet! This piece of Saiyan trash shall die by my hands!
Too many of you already know of Frieza's defeat at the hands of a Saiyan fairly recently! Then, my son is not only defeated twice by one of those wretched monkeys, but he is killed as well! Now, everyone will know to respect and fear the name of Xarlok!"
Koji removed his weighted cape and tossed it aside, causing it to hit the ground with a thud. Koji glared at Xarlok angrilly from across the battlefield. Xarlok smiled diabolically.
At that moment, Zheng appeared from a waiting room connected to the fighting arena. Zheng had in his hands a carring case, and he delivered it to Xarlok. Xarlok then opened the case up, took the scouter from out of the case, put the scouter on, and handed the empty case back to Zheng upon closing it once again. Zheng then made his way back to where he came from. Xarlok examined Koji with the scouter, and it registered his energy.
"Well, well, well!" Xarlok chuckled as he noted Koji's registering power level. "How did so weak a Saiyan ever defeat my son in the first place?"
"You lunatic!" Koji snapped back in growing rage. "You'll witness my true power soon enough! The way I see it, it's like father, like son! Your pathetic offspring was helpless without his scouter as well! I have learned to sense power levels without one, and, most importantly, to hide my power!"
"What?" Xarlok uttered dumbfoundedly as he eyed Koji warily. "That green-skinned buffoon I killed moments ago said something about being able to sense my power! How could lower lifeforms such as the likes of you possess this power while we Changelings do not? It isn't possible, I tell you!"
"Oh, but it is!" Koji answered the confused Changeling with a slight smile upon his face. "I don't know why Changelings do not possess the ability to sense power levels without a scouter, but maybe that's a clue as to how inferior you really are! We Saiyans are constantly evolving during our lifetimes! Constant battle makes us strong, and that which doesn't kill us only makes us stronger! Your son was a weakling!"
"Yes," Xarlok replied in a bit of agreement. "My son Tarboz rarely ever trained or did anything except ride on the coattails of myself and Frieza. He barely did much at all, that is, until you beat him on planet Ferella. Then he intensified his training considerably and grew much stronger. He was still just a weak boy trying to make waves in a man's business, however. If you're truly concealing your power from me, prove it!"
"Okay, you asked for it!" Koji said with a cocky grin as he widened his stance and tensed every muscle in his body until all of his veins began to bulge. "Just promise me you won't run away scared when I'm done!"
"Me? Run away?" Xarlok muttered, half in amusement and half in offense. "Don't make me laugh!"
Koji began his drawn-out power-up yell, and he began glowing immediately! Seconds later, the sky darkened slightly, the ground began to tremble slightly, and winds began howling as Xarlok's scouter picked up on Koji's growing power level! Seconds later, the ground began to shake more strongly and small stones began rising from the ground! Moments after that, powerful whirlwinds formed and intensified all around the battlefield! The sky also went dark as lightning once more danced across the sky repeatedly, and huge rocks erupted out of the ground! The entire arena seemed to be shaking from the awesome power Koji was generating! Xarlok's expression changed from his previously cocky demeanor to one of concern and disbelief as his scouter exploded from his face!
"Impossible!" Xarlok growled in disbelief at what he beheld. "The scouter read your power level at over a million before it went out! That's not possible! Saiyan's can't be that powerful! They can't!"
As the power-up special effects gradually subsided, Koji streaked towards Xarlok and hammered him with a series of power punches to the face, and then he followed those bruising punches up with a phenomenal reverse spin kick that knocked Xarlok across the arena and into the far wall, where Xarlok made a crater in the wall before dropping back to the ground on one knee!
"Blast that Saiyan!" Xarlok thought to himself as he glared angrilly at the quickly approaching warrior. "He caught me offguard!"
Xarlok got to his feet in time to meet Koji's attack with a sufficient defense, and the two warriors began a furious exchange of flurries of hand-to-hand techniques with blinding speed and incredible skill and power! They seemed almost equal at first as Koji leaned on the momentary advantage his surprise attack had given him, but soon enough Xarlok's power and skill advantage began to tell! Xarlok began pummeling Koji much like he did Tao earlier! Koji found himself terribly outmatched against the terrible Xarlok! Xarlok then swatted Koji away with his tail, knocking him partway across the battlefield! Koji performed a series of tucked flips before landing on his feet to face Xarlok, his face now bruised and bleeding from the lip and nose!
"This isn't good!" Koji thought to himself as he grimaced in a mixture of pain and frustration. "He's too strong, and his speed is unbelievable! In this form, he's the most powerful fighter here! He's picking me apart, and I can't do anything about it in my present condition! It looks like I'm going to have to turn things up a notch!"
Koji began smiling all of a sudden, and Xarlok was confused by this sight he beheld before him.
"What are you smiling about, monkey-boy?" Xarlok called out in taunting inquiry. "I'm giving you the beating of your life! You're going to die today! You have nothing to be happy about, so why are you smiling?"
"Because I have a secret!" Koji replied in taunting fashion, further infuriating the Changeling. "Get a load of this!"
Koji screamed to the heavens, and immediately his hair began to stand upright while remaining black, and a golden flaming aura surrounded him! His eyes remained the same, except that there was more confidence in them! Xarlok looked on in complete amazement!
"Wh-what is this transformation?" Xarlok muttered in horrified disbelief. "I've never seen such a transformation before! But Saiyans turn into giant apes like Yukio did earlier! What's going on here?"
Without a word, Koji launched himself once more at Xarlok, and the Changeling snapped out of his momentary trance of scrutinizing the Saiyan to defend himself! This time, it seemed that Koji was doing much better, so much so that he was now pummeling Xarlok just as he had been pummeled moments before! Xarlok broke away after several moments of this and shot at Koji with his eyebeams, but Koji swatted the eyebeams away, closed the distance, and sent Xarlok reeling with a mighty uppercut to the chin! Koji then powered up an energy blast and fired it into Xarlok's torso, driving Xarlok into the ground with a crater-forming, ground-shaking impact! The explosion forced everyone to turn away as it hurled debris in all directions and for quite some distance! When everything cleared up once more, Xarlok could be seen getting back to his feet and staring at Koji in disbelief!
"H-how is this possible?" Xarlok muttered to himself as he stared in awe at Koji's new form, the 'Golden Flamed' Saiyan state. "He's stronger than I am now! He's faster too! This can't be possible!"
Xarlok streaked skyward at Koji and engaged him in another flurry of hand-to-hand techniques, his attack bolstered by his growing rage! Koji seemed almost relaxed as he fended off Xarlok's every attack, and Xarlok's frustration and rage grew with every failed effort! After a while, Xarlok began firing his finger bolts at Koji, and Koji began dodging them! The missed attacks exploded harmlessly in the distance, but Xarlok was now trembling in rage and frustration at his inability to hit Koji! Koji smiled!
"Wipe that smug smile off of your putrid mug, monkey-boy!" Xarlok roared as every vein in his body began to bulge. "I've got an ace up my sleeve yet! You fool! Like Frieza, I've learned a third transformation! Now learn what true power really is!"
Koji was startled by the announcement, and he watched in amazement as Xarlok began his drawn-out yell and began glowing immediately! Seconds later the sky began to darken slightly as the ground began to tremble slightly, and winds began to howl! Within seconds, the ground began shaking more strongly, small stones began rising from the ground, and Xarlok's glow grew larger and brighter until it obscured the view of his form! Then small rocks began to split as whirlwinds formed around the battlefield, and the ground started shaking violently! As everyone watched in horror, huge rocks erupted out of the ground, the whirlwinds grew more intense, the sky went dark, and lightning danced in the sky once again! Mere moments later, the sky went black, the ground began opening up around the battlefield to reveal boiling pits of lava, rocks began exploding, and nearby mountains began to crumble on the outskirts of the arena!
Outside the arena area, the waves of every body of water began crashing violently against the land, and then they began to part! Then, whirlwinds began forming in the water like waterspouts as the water is completely parted to the water's floor! Then the bare ground on the floor of the parted waters began opening up, and boiling lava began spraying up from where the ground opened up! The parted water formed sky-high walls all over the landscape, and the skies were black all over the planet as lightning danced all over planet Veloria's sky!
When everything finally subsided, almost a minute later, the brilliant glow that had obscured the sight of Xarlok's form dwindled away! His body was much smaller now, but not as small as in his first form, and he had no horns! His face became more human-looking, his nose returned once again, and his frame became sleek and slender! His tail still remained, but it had also become more slender! Even Koji was astounded by this transformation!
"I hope you've enjoyed your time alive, monkey-boy," Xarlok taunted while smiling arrogantly, "because you're about to be given a permanent vacation ... to another dimension!"
