"The Genie's Rage"
Gao was ready for the battle to renew, and the Saiyans looked on in utter disbelief at the genie as he landed on the ground just away from the crater's edge. Chen looked on helplessly from the distance, his bottom lip quivering in his fear and apprehension. Gao assumed a fighting stance.
"Let's get him!" one of the Saiyans roared to the others as he flew at the genie to begin the battle a-new, prompting the others to follow him.
Gao responded by meeting the frontrunning Saiyan with a thunderous flying punch to the face, knocking him across the landscape like a cannon shot! The punched Saiyan slammed into the ground with a crater-forming crash that through up a vision-obscuring cloud of dust and smoke! The other Saiyans took note of what had just transpired! Gao then clapped his hands together on either side of another Saiyan's head with a tremendous impact, bruising both sides of that Saiyan's face as a result! Gao then brought a single fist down onto the top of that Saiyan's head with a thunderous bonk, hurtling that Saiyan down to the ground with enormous impact! Gao followed that up by charging up two powerful energy blasts, one in each hand, and firing each blast into one of the remaining three Saiyans, knocking them from the sky and leaving one lone Saiyan in the air with him! Gao knocked that Saiyan from the sky with a tremendous blast of energy from his mouth, driving that Saiyan to the ground and causing the blast to explode like a small nuclear device as it slammed the Saiyan into the ground!
The Saiyans who were knocked from the sky prior to the last one regained their composure and got back to their feet! Gao's face was contorted in a mixture of rage and joy! The Saiyans charged up energy attacks and fired them at Gao one at a time! Gao deflected the first three blasts with swatting hand gestures, knocking them off into the sky to explode harmlessly, and he catches the last blast between his hands and snuffs it out like a candle flame! The Saiyans were astonished by this display of power!
Gao flew down to one of them and punted him like a football, sending the Saiyan across the landscape for an unbelievable distance! Gao then flew into another Saiyan who took to the air, slamming into him with a football-style spearing tackle that drove that Saiyan through a mountainous structure! Gao left the limp form of the Saiyan in the midst of the falling rubble and debris to fly at yet another Saiyan! Gao charged another powerful energy attack in between his hands and fired it into the next foe! The explosion blew against the remaining Saiyan fighter and pushed him back from the almost blindingly brilliant explosion while wafting Gao's tied-on cape dramatically!
When the explosion subsided, the limp form of the blasted Saiyan streaked across the sky like a rocket, a trail of smoke drifting behind! The remaining Saiyan powered up his most powerful blast while flying high up over the battlefield overlooking the genie's position! Chen was terrified as he sensed the Saiyan's building energy!
"Oh, no!" the young Kai gasped in abject horror as he watched the Saiyan charging up his attack. "If he misses Gao now, he'll still destroy the entire planet with a blast that powerful! Gao, don't let that blast hit the ground! It will destroy the entire planet!"
"Oh?" Gao sighed as he heard the voice of his friend and turned to make eye contact with Chen. "Okay! Gao understand! Blast no blow up planet!"
Gao turned his attention back to the Saiyan charging up his attack! Gao then began powering up an incredible energy attack between his hands! The Saiyan grimaced in pain and rage as he prepared to launch his attack!
"Alright, you pudgy, pink cretin!" the Saiyan snarled in his rage. "I'm going to finish this right now! I'm going to finish you off and this worthless planet all at the same time! Get ready to feel my wrath!"
The Saiyan screamed in exertion as he launched his powerful blast towards Gao and the planet! Gao chuckled and then fired his powerful blast up to meet the Saiyan's blast! The two blasts collided in mid-air, and they began pushing against each other, electricity crackling between them! The Saiyan screamed more and more intensely as he pumped more and more of his energy into the attack! Gao seemed a bit more relaxed as he channeled ever-increasing amounts of energy into his attack! The planet began shaking under the enormous strain of enduring the titanic clash, the sky went black, and lightning flashed across the heavens! Whirlwinds of debris flew all around them as all manner of rocks, stones, and pebbles began rising from the ground, splitting, and exploding! Strong winds buffetted the entire landscape for an incredible distance around the battle site! The contest of energy blasts was truly horrific in its epic intensity!
"Gao! Why are you holding back?" Chen cried out in horror as he beheld the terrible clash. "You must stop him now! This is no time for playing games! You must finish this and quickly! I know you can do it!"
Gao grinned a big grin, and then he really cut loose, channeling greater quantities of energy into his blast! Gao's blast began overwhelming the Saiyan's blast, driving it back towards the Saiyan! The Saiyan screamed in horror as he saw his own blast being pushed back at him!
"I ... can't ... stop ... it!" the Saiyan screamed in disbelief as he struggled futilely to stop the advance of both energy blasts. "It ... can't ... be! ... No ... way!"
Gao pumped an increased surge into his blast, and it overwhelmed the Saiyan's blast completely! The blasts streaked right towards the frightened Saiyan, and it sideswiped him on its way into space! The sideswiped Saiyan plummeted to the ground, smoke wafting from his falling form! The Saiyan crashed to the ground with a thud, and he lay there motionless! The terrifying special effects which had been rocking the planet during the clash subsided, and Gao stood alone on the battlefield! Chen collapsed completely exhausted from all the excitement and his injuries taking their toll on him!
Gao looked around the battlefield, and he saw a single Saiyan getting back to his feet, the Saiyan's legs trembling underneath him! Gao flew over to the battleworn Saiyan and landed right in front of him! The Saiyan grimaced as he clenched his fists and lifted his hands in front of him to defend himself!
"You no look good," Gao noted as he observed the Saiyan's battered condition. "Maybe you should take nap!"
Gao punched the Saiyan right in the face, knocking him across the battlefield and into unconsciousness. Gao then made his way over to Chen, who lay practically unconscious on the ground at Gao's feet. Gao knelt down beside his friend, a worried look upon the gentle giant's face now. With his eyes watering in sadness, Gao reached down and put his hands on Chen's prone form. A glow enveloped Gao's hands, and then it completely ensheathed the Kai. Seconds later, the glow subsided, and the Kai's body was completely healed. Chen opened his eyes as he regained consciousness, and Gao's coutenance transformed from one of sadness and concern to one of joy and relief as he helped Chen back to his feet.
"Chen okay!" the jolly pink genie shouted in glee as he picked his friend up and gave him a hug. "Gao so happy! Chen alright!"
"Yes, Gao!" Chen replied with a laugh as he smiled at Gao's happiness. "Thanks to you, I am alive and well!"
The two friends laughed for several moments before Gao put Chen back down once again. Chen placed his hand on Gao's shoulder, and the big genie sighed in happy relief. Chen smiled paternally at his big friend.
"Are you ready to go home now?" Chen inquired to his enormous merry friend with a smile.
"Yes, Gao ready to go home now," Gao sighed as he broke into a big yawn. "Gao sleepy. Today been long day!"
"Yes, it has, Gao," the young Kai replied with a laugh and a smile at the big genie's relaxed demeanor. "Yes, it has."
In a flash, both Kai and genie disappeared via Chen's instant transmission technique, homewardbound, leaving the horrible site of devastation and carnage far behind. The world they left might have been completely destroyed, but something else had come out of this day. A new power had made its mark in the universe, and so it was with Gao's journey!
