"The Battle Begins"
As the Saiyan attacked, Chen sidestepped the Saiyan's lunge and flew up into the air! Gao marvelled at Chen's maneuver, but the Saiyan wasn't as impressed! The Saiyan grimaced angrilly as he pursued the young Kai!
"Where do you think you're going, pal?" the Saiyan growled as he closed the distance with the Kai. "We're just getting started here!"
Chen turned in mid-air and launched an invisible ki-blast at the Saiyan, screaming as he did so! The Saiyan's scouter went wild registering the ki-blast's power, and the Saiyan immediately crossed his forearms in front of his face to defend against Chen's attack! The ki-blast slammed into the Saiyan's crossed forearms and sprayed off of them all around the Saiyan, but the Saiyan wasn't harmed by the attack!
"Is that all you've got, Kai?!?" the Saiyan roared as he prepared to continue the battle.
"Don't get too cocky, Saiyan!" Chen responded with grim determination in his voice and demeanor. "I'm just getting warmed up!"
The Saiyan closed with Chen and tried to land a flurry of punches, but Chen dodged and evaded each and every punch while trying to put some distance between himself and his foe! The Saiyan became more and more frustrated as each punch was evaded by the young Kai!
"What kind of fighting do you call this?!?" the Saiyan roared in frustrated fury as he continued to throw punches at Chen.
"The intelligent kind!" Chen answered as he evaded a punch and then slammed a kick into the Saiyan's midsection, stunning him.
Chen then followed that up with a two-fisted smash to the back of the head of the Saiyan, knocking him to the ground with a thud! The Saiyan jumped to his feet enraged, glaring up at Chen! Seething with rage, the Saiyan began charging up an energy attack in one hand while shielding it from Chen by placing his body between Chen and the energy-charging hand!
"Lucky shot, punk!" the Saiyan yelled at Chen before he launched his attack. "Let's see how you deal with this!"
With a battle cry, the Saiyan launched the energy blast towards Chen, and Chen reacted with surprise! Chen then extended both hands towards the incoming blast and screamed, dispersing the incoming energy blast with a controlled burst of ki! The Saiyan then closed the distance very quickly and hammered Chen with a vicious punch to the cheek, knocking him backwards a great distance! Chen crashed to the ground with a thud, and then he sat up to rub his bruised cheek!
"His strength is very good!" Chen thought to himself as he stood up to continue the fight. "I can't take him lightly! He's also very skilled as a fighter! I have to be careful because there are five more Saiyans waiting in the wings after this one! I hope Gao doesn't have to become involved in this!"
"What are you waiting for?" the Saiyan shouted in his rage as he hovered high over Chen. "Let's continue this game!"
The Saiyan flew at Chen to renew their conflict, and Chen braced himself for the fight ahead! Chen then flew straight up as the Saiyan tried to hit him with a punch, causing the Saiyan to slam his fist into the ground and make a small, fist-sized crater where it hit! Chen sped quickly away from the Saiyan and into the sky, and the Saiyan watched this with growing frustration and anger! Chen smiled slightly through his grimly determined visage!
"What's the matter?" Chen shouted down at the Saiyan tauntingly. "You missed me! You'll have to do better than that to defeat me!"
With a barbaric warcry, the Saiyan streaked skyward in pursuit of the young, taunting Kai! The Saiyan's muscles were tensed so much that his veins bulged, and he looked like his head might explode right off of his body due to his unbridled rage! Chen tensed every muscle in his body as he waited for the Saiyan to close the distance!
When the Saiyan got almost into hand-to-hand striking range, Chen thrust both hands forward and screamed, and an invisible wave of ki energy slammed into the Saiyan and hurled him forcibly back to the ground with a crater-forming crash! The Saiyan dragged himself out of the crater, bruised and bleeding from the face! He yelled his rage into the heavens, and then he flew straight up at Chen once again!
From the ground, the other five Saiyans charged up energy blasts and fired them at Chen before flying up behind the blasts towards Chen themselves! Chen noted the energy blasts coming his way, but this distracted him momentarily from the charging Saiyan he'd been fighting thus far! That attacking Saiyan closed the distance quickly and tried to kick Chen, but the young Kai saw the attack coming in time to evade it! Instead of responding to the raging attack of the opponent he'd been fighting the entire time, Chen fired multiple invisible ki-blasts into the upcoming energy blasts fired by the other Saiyans, causing them to explode in mid-air!
The raging Saiyan hammered Chen from behind with a two-fisted smash to the back, knocking him towards the other five Saiyans joining the fray! Each and every Saiyan got to hit Chen as he was caught in their midst! Within a split second, the raging one had joined in, and it was a six-on-one gang assault! From below, Gao saw his friend being ruthlessly beaten to a pulp by the six Saiyans, and he began to tremble with rage! The Saiyans allowed the battered, bruised, and bloodied Kai to plummet to the ground semi-conscious from the beating he'd received, and then they turned their attention towards the seething genie Gao!
Gao had already started to glow, and small stones, pebbles, and rocks began rising from the ground as the sky darkened slightly and the wind began to howl! Seconds later, the ground began to shake more strongly as very strong winds began blowing out from Gao in all directions! Small rocks began to split within moments! The Saiyans stopped in their tracks as they observed Gao's power-up in confusion!
"Hey! What's he up to, and why can't we pick anything up on the scouter?" one of the Saiyans muttered, voicing a question they all were pondering as they watched the genie's power-up.
"They don't get it!" Chen thought to himself as he watched on, teetering on the edge of unconsciousness as he noted the Saiyans' inability to detect Gao's growing strength. "Gao's strength should have already blown their pitiful scouters by now, but his energy is somehow different than most others'! For some reason, their technology cannot sense his energy! They don't know his power is greater than all of their's combined! Even if I were to add my full power to their's and boost it with the Kaio-ken technique, Gao would still be stronger! Now, the true horror begins!"
The ground began shaking more strongly as the sky darkened just a bit more! The Saiyans were baffled by their inability to get a scouter reading on Gao! Soon, the ground was shaking violently, and powerful whirlwinds whipped debris all around the battlefield, threatening to blow the Saiyans out of the sky! Gao was still powering up!
"I don't understand it!" one of the Saiyans exclaimed in confusion as he checked and rechecked his scouter. "There's no reading for this guy! He's obviously raising his power, but it's not registering on the scouter!"
Lightning began to flash in the sky overhead as the sky went dark, and huge rocks erupted out of the ground as the winds blowing out of Gao and his glowing aura reached gale-force-plus intensity! Seconds later, bodies of water within a little over a mile of Gao began churning from the power he was generating! The waves crashed violently against the land, and then the waters began to part! Twin walls of water reached skyward in every body of water in the affected area as all those bodies of water were parted down to the bare ground! The sky went blank as mountains began to crumble and rocks began to explode as lava sprayed into the air from between the parted waters and from where the ground began to crack open in places in the affected sight!
"What's happening?!?" one of the Saiyans screamed in disbelief at the effects of Gao's incredible power-up.
"You hurt Gao's friend!" the furious genie growled menacingly at the awed Saiyans. "You wrecked fun planet and killed good people who made planet fun! You mean! Now Gao angry!"
As the special effects of his awesome power-up subsided, Gao moved from his position on the ground into the midst of the Saiyans so swiftly that it caught them offguard! In his rage, Gao hammered the Saiyan Chen had been battling earlier with a headbutt to the forehead! That Saiyan was knocked across the landscape like a shot fired from a cannon, and he crashed through a rocky structure and to the ground behind it! The other Saiyans were stunned by this display of speed and strength! Gao then spread his arms and legs and let out a scream, releasing an invisible rush of ki energy that blue all five remaining Saiyan's out of the sky with incredible force!
"You beat up Gao's Kai friend Chen!" Gao scolded his scattered foes in his terrible rage. "Now Gao beat you up good! Pow, pow, pow! Ow, ow, ow!"
Gao landed on the ground as the five Saiyans he knocked from the air with just his energy stood back to their feet! The Saiyan he headbutted almost exploded from the place where he landed as he raced towards Gao in a blind rage! The furious Saiyan unleashed a flurry of hand-to-hand attacks, denting in the genie's body at the points of impact like a rubber garbage can! The assault continued for several seconds before the Saiyan backed up and laughed in satisfied confidence at his handiwork!
Gao just flexed his body out once again, and all the 'dents' in his body returned to normal as he put his body back into its normal shape! This bit of regenerative display surprised the Saiyans, and Gao glared menacingly at the Saiyan who attacked him! The Saiyan began powering up a huge energy attack to launch at Gao, who stood his ground undaunted! The Saiyan fired the attack at Gao, and the blast slammed into the genie with unbelievable impact! A gale-force wind slammed against the landscape, spreading out from the explosive impact in all directions! Gao was knocked backwards into a mountainous structure by the blast, and the mountainous structure was scattered like marbles by the horrific explosion of the energy blast!
Chen could only look on in horror at the terrible sight of the explosion in the distance before he was blown across the battlefield by the winds from the explosion! The other five Saiyans struggled to resist the gale-force explosion winds and maintain their vigil of the fight!
