"Gao And His Kai"
Other World.
It was a nice, peaceful day on Other World, and a huge figure rose from a bed in a simple-looking house. He was large and pink, wearing white, daipery-looking shorts over black pants legs, a black vest, big yellow gloves and boots, a tied-on blue cape, and a black waistband-like belt to hold his diaper-looking shorts up. He was hairless, had holes running down the length of both arms and along both sides of his head, and a long pink antenna on top of his head. He had odd-looking ears, no nose, and a big, happy smile on his face. His eyes appeared to be closed.
"Gao have good sleep!" a high-pitched, childish voice ushered forth from the behemoth genie, seemingly out of place for a creature his size. "Gao feel so refreshed and well-rested now! Wonder if Chen is awake. Chen and Gao have so much fun! Gao go see if Chen ready to play now!"
The jovial genie began skipping like a little school child as he left his little house and went off in search of the one called Chen. The enormous, bouncing, infant-like blubber ball sang to himself a child-like skipping song as he frolicked along merrily. After skipping and singing for quite some distance, the jolly genie came across a slender figure not too far ahead.
This slender person up ahead of Gao had light blue skin and a sagging white mohawk, and he was clean-shaven with fusion earrings in both ears. The slender, shorter person wore traditional Kai attire. The young Kai smiled when he saw Gao skipping and frolicking towards him.
"Ahhhh! It's Gao's friend Chen!" the jolly genie gleefully proclaimed with a big smile as he saw his friend up ahead. "Now we can play!"
Gao jumped up and down and clapped his hands, laughing like a happy child all the while, and then he ran towards the young Kai with great enthusiasm and excitement. The Kai chuckled at the sight of his huge friend approaching.
"Chen!" Gao called out in great glee as he bounded along playfully towards his much smaller friend. "Did Chen get good sleep? Gao get good sleep! Gao feel much well-rested and refreshed! Gao feel good! Want to play now! What we play today, Kai friend Chen? Huh? New game maybe?"
"Well, Gao," Chen began, trying to break some bad news to his big friend without hurting his feelings too much. "It appears I have an important meeting to attend this morning. I'm afraid we'll have to postpone our playtime until later on in the day. Perhaps we'll take a trip and see the sights when I return from my meeting. Okay?"
"Aw, no can play right now?" Gao sighed with great disappointment and sadness in his voice and countenance. "How long meeting last? When will Chen be back to play with Gao?"
"It shouldn't be more than a couple of hours," Chen said, still trying to soothe his big friend's feelings as much as possible. "Hey, don't fret. When I get back from my meeting, I promise I'll take you to see lots of interesting new places and see lots of interesting people. You'd like that, wouldn't you?"
"Yes!" the genie replied with a renewed happy spirit about him as he grinned and chuckled merrily. "Gao like that lots! Gao want to see new places and new people! Sound like fun! We have so much fun!"
Gao hopped back and forth from one foot to the other repeatedly, clapping his hands and cheering excitedly about their new plans. Chen smiled broadly as he watched the jolly giant dance and celebrate with glee. Gao even did some cartwheels and some flips in his excitement, singing about the plans for the day as he did so.
"Try not to get too excited and carried away until I get back, okay?" Chen said with a laugh as he waved to his happy friend before disappearing via his instant transmission technique. "See you later!"
"Bye-bye! Gao be ready to go when Chen gets back!" the genie proclaimed with happiness as he continued to frolic and dance. "Chen come back, then we go bye-bye, bye-bye!"
Gao laughed with boundless enthusiasm and excitement as he tumbled around and performed a few aerial gymnatic flips in his childish glee. This little celebration lasted for all of about fifteen seconds, and then Gao stopped. He stood there, all alone, scratching his head with a perplexed look on it as he looked around as if searching for something.
"Hmmm," Gao sighed as he scanned the area. "It later, but Chen not back yet. Gao wonder what taking Chen so long. Gao bored. Wait! Gao know! Gao fly around planet and look for fun!"
The jovial pink genie took flight into the air as he soared into the atmosphere in search of something to satisfy his curiousity, laughing and uttering childish statements as he flew. After a while, he got to where he could see Snake Way in the distance, very far away. He stopped, hovered there in mid-flight, and beheld Snake Way with wonder.
"Ooooh! That look like fun!" Gao cooed as he noted the odd pathway in the distance. "Gao go play over there until Chen get back!"
